I started out with an inexpensive set of stereo BT headphones about 4 years ago.
(BT technology wasn't very good for streaming music back then)

Then I got a BT MP3 player for Christmas 3 years ago which lasted about 6 months.

My '10 F-150 has "Sync" which allows me to BT my phone's Pandora, Slacker or stored MP3's thru my trucks stereo system.

Now these days, I gotz a set of Plantronics 'Back-Beat' BT stereo headphones which can make and receive calls, skip tracks, rewind, pause, mute, all from the device w/ BassBoost. (42$ thru Amazon)
Rechargeable and good for 7 hrs.

Two months ago, I bought a Bose "SoundLink" portable BT stereo speaker which for it's size, KICKS ASS!!

Wireless technology is just gonna bet better and better and not having to deal with wires every where is really a treat.

A good "Music Equalizer" app for Android devices is "AnEq" available over at Google Play for free.

Now, Ima gonna have to start getting rid of all my 'wired' speakers cuz I stopped using them except for my 1980 Sony amp, reciever and turntable.

And vinyl really does still sound better than digital music!!
