Nah I really do believe that after the debacle that was the 2000 election, and the rise in independent journalism and access to information, I don't think the books can be fudged this time around. It goes around in cycles i think, a certain Regime (Administration if you like to be politically correct) will alter the balance for a while then its time for a correction, a bit like the Stock market I guess, we have had the same thing here, 11 years of one Party dominating our federal politics, life was good for a lot of people mainly business. Now we have a so called conservative government who want to chop the hell out of public spending to reign in inflation.
