Wholesale Prices in Northern Cali?

I keep reading about people getting busted on the interstates transporting large quantities from Northern Cali to places like Denver, Minnesota, Illinois, etc? Most seem to be transporting anywhere from 30 - 200 lbs. My question is, how much are these people getting wholesale quantities for to justify such a risky run?

No, that's retail. I'm talking about true wholesale. I mean how much is someone paying at the source for 50 lbs or so. My guess is $1500 or so per pound.

thats what it goes for here on the east coast....1800 will get you premo in nyc per lb....

Let's do the math assuming they pay $1500 per pound for 50 lbs. That's $75,000.

That person then sells it either by the pound for around $3000, or the quarter pound for around $1000.

That means they're profiting $1500 - $2500 per pound.

So they are potentially turning their $75,000 into $150,000 - $200,000 (profiting $75,000 - $125,000)

Doesn't seem worth the risk to me....

i dont think good weed goes below like 2000$ a pound is my guess even in large quanities unless its a ridiculously large amount but then is it really good weed?

You're probably right, but the stuff I've been seeing on the news is definitely high grade. At $2000 per lb, it REALLY doesn't seem worth it. Assume 50 lbs for $2000 per pound. As a middle man, it would probably sell in most states for about $3000 per pound (maybe $4000 if you sold by the quarter pound). So risk $100,000 and a very scary drive to make $50,000??

Risking 10 years sleeping next to Nasty Nate for $50,000??? No way!

i know of people paying 4k a Pound around new england area my guess is 3k though ... i wanna go out and see cali ... good buds nice weather.. whats better? lol

Wow, that seems expensive for that big of a quantity. Kudos to him for achieving that price. I don't see how these interstate runners are making any money then. That's essentially retail price, unless they're breaking it down and selling it by the oz. themselves, but you would assume they're just a middleman selling in 1 lb increments.

yeah round here in new england its about 3000 with a really good hookup or prob closer to 4000. i know of a guy that traveled to pennsylvania for a pound of northern lights for 4200. i personally think he got ripped

I'm surprised there hasn't been more input on this thread. We all know a single pound of kind is going to run $3k plus....but can anyone share accounts of what large quantities go for in No Cal or BC?

I'm talking 30lbs plus.
