If you mean dry as in not a lot of cannabis out there, he is bullsh*tting you. High quality nug is all over the place.

Tho so is a lot of crap..............

...you are in a state where mj is decriminalized for medical use at state level... so variety is most likely around, thus you are getting ripped off...

I completely agree but im a former co patient transporting to a different state so i dont have a whole lot of say in the matter. Im not making a trip until prices go down for him. And this bud is the best ive ever seen just not worth the risk for that price. Thanks for the input guys. Maybe ill copy this page and email it to him

Just a greedy ass grower, shop around cause I highly doubt you are buying the best smoke in Colorado!! Nobody pays that in Denver!

you guys also have to understand, the OP isnt a patient right now. He is buying illegally and taking what is supposed to be MMJ to a different state (also illegally). So paying extra for meds doesnt suprise me one bit.

3400 a pound in Colorado in not that bad of a price, When most street vendors our getting 10 a gram or more. they only stuff I ever see under 2800 a pound here in Colorado is mid to high mid trying to be passed off as top shelf. To me top shelf is cup quality any thing less is mids. This is my opinion, so I hope no one takes it wrong. I found alot of stuff that get you high for 30 to 45 min and then is gone, and it has a nasty burn when smoked due to fast drying times and improperly cured meds.

a few folks here know my gear and $2400-2800/lb wholesale is the norm for high grade and has been for a while since MIPs (edibles manufacturers) started flooding the market last year with mids for $1800/lb. With the new July 1st rules and inspections/audits starting to take place, a lot of places are finally having to close down thier grows that aren't 'legal' or meet inspection standards. so now, we are starting to see the supply chain tighten up and prices may start going back up as well. MMCs also have their hands tied for buying from 'questionable' sources, since all is tracked from Seed->Sale now, every gram.

Yep I am all to familiar Denver county is and the rest of the state, LOL.

We have a Mips and 4 dispensary locations here in Denver. I know the owner is opening up 2 more locations this year. Plus we have one of the 1st out permits to grow in the springs for that market.

There is still holes big enough to drive trains threw on the seed to sale tracking I see it all the time with one of the dispensary down the street from me. They have been checked out by the cops and the new MMJ cops but yet they still keep selling gas tank weed as top shelf.

we sell our pre98 bubba for $2800 all day long but like was stated its dry in colorado as far as quanity goes because of the heat ...we can almost produce twice the amount in winter time...lucky to see a 10 pack now

wait one month and the market will flood with the outdo

We just had some killer Platuim OG kush go for $2000 a lb

sad isn't it ..... i just hate seeing top quality colonuggs going for so cheap. but the outdoor nugz won't be flooding Disp. this year, like they did last year. any legit Dispensary can't touch it with a 10' pole if it isn't tracked (correct me if I'm wrong here, but there aren't any legal outdoor grows ....)

Ya im talking about what we sell wholesale too.... our same plat og sells for $40 a 1/8 retail..... $280 a oz

I think the outdo will still find its way to the MMJ stores and dealers....through the back door out the front :)

This tracking of plants and quanity is a freakin joke....many ways around the new and improved fucked up mmj laws.

alot of stores are still purchasing weed off the books & selling it off the books...You have to just to stay in supply.

Theres no way one facility can grow enough to stay in constant supply of 10-12 strains for 500-1000 people
