I've got 8 oz off a 5 gallon bucket, so I would say it comes down to feeding them right. I feed yesterday with 600 ml of bloom (veganic), 300 ml of cal/mag, 150 ml of molasses and a extra 150 ml of big blooming guano mixed in 30 gallons of water. Feed all 12 of my plants with it. Here's a shot of my organic/veganic garden. image.jpgimage.jpg

looks great !!
i gotta disagree though , weight i am finding is more related to strain selection than feeding pratices . .
i run alot of og's and find it hard to get much yeild . but the smoke is the best...
but with blue dream and sour d i get great yeilds in the same methods....nearly double...lol...

Yeah I'm find strains make a difference. I try to keep my soil where it doesn't need feeding. Blue dream, sour d, Green Crack the commercial strains are just that for that reason. They put weight on! They may be just as dank. But then you have ogs and kush which really may or may not be much danker but there is less of them cause their yield is significantly lower. So that's were there value comes from.

Some strains are easer than others to get a good yield but with topping and training you can make most strains produce well. If you get to know your plants, they will produce, for the most part. I don't think I've ever seen the thin mint pheno of gsc ever produce well.

For feeding right I was talking about giant plants in smaller pots. I'm at 2x the suggested feeding and still getting yellow leaves. I didn't mean to imply that's all you need for a good yield.

@757growin i make good soil too, but it doesn't last 6 months with out feedings it.

this one is in a 10 gallon smarty rooted in the earth in my light dep .... foodog f3 from loompa farms ... from seed they always get bigger IME...
Did you plant your pot in the ground ? It's so dry and the soil sucks here only about half my plants have roots into the ground. Also love seeds outside, there so vigorous and healthy, my cuts from them root in days too.

this season I went from veg indoor then up potted and flowered out door. Or I used some huge pots. My Llama poo. Is still whole after 3 months of growth it will keep feeding. I will probably just top dress with my soil beginning/mid flower again.

Bigger pots is on my todo list for next year. Thinking 40 or 50 gallon pots.

naw just placed it on top and put some soil for 3-4 inches around it to encourage skirt growth . BOG the breeder calls it "double potting " and it keeps em bushy:)

Oh man no doubt. My best strain is an indica heavy little bulldog man. Need a sledgehammer to bust the nugs no shit. I get anywhere between 4-6 zips per 7.5 gallons indoors, with plants that finish between 24-30 inches, so man, outdoors I wouldn't be afraid to throw 8-12 ounces out there no prob. In a 15 gallon with a nice outdoor veg period? Be a lick I bet.

These are my outdoor babies. Four plants in 15 gal pots. They were the four rejects out of my indoor bunch. Moved outside about a week before May. My second outdoor grow.
