why the F do people keep throwing out 12/12 like this is a perfectly acceptable light schedule. like if you are growing autos just throw them on 12/12 and save some money or some shit. Jackass's!!!!! maybe ya.. if you are already doing photo's and you want to fill in some space in your flower room.(even then i wouldn't do it). but if you are going to buy autos to run them at 12/12 just because... 12/12 is a complete waste of fucking time and energy... so if you see someone is telling you to just run your autos at 12/12 and kick back... i would disregard anything and everything they said before and after... STOP FUCKING TELLING PEOPLE TO RUN THEIR AUTOS AT 12/12 LIKE IT'S AN OPTIMAL LIGHT CYCLE OR SOME SHIT.. if you want the absolute lowest yield you can get out of your auto run 12/12

I haven't run any autos but if I did, I wouldn't change anything. I run my lights at random intervals from seed to harvest. Keeps the electric company from detecting a pattern. Amirite?

I never see people suggest 12/12 for autos..
seen it a couple times in the past couple days
once here somewhere and on the advance board or breeders paradise i think

its just misinformation parroted
i think it comes from this
the breeders that suggest 12/12 are marketing a strain that normally gets big for " stealth"
and claim its " bud structure "

the only reason i can see the hatred that is projected towards ruderalis crosses
it puts a perpetual harvest in anyone's hands that has and about a meter squared grow space
and a little bit of growing knowledge

thats really bad for small time growers that charge such a high mark up

i understand that they have lower thc then a top notch photo
but lets face it people
the majority of photo plants are less potent than than top notch photo's and they are bought and sold every day

why is it so easy to bash a auto
when there just as potent as the majority of photo's

I have seen a few breeders that say to run their autos on 12/12 but I never have put them on that until they where in full flower and that was just to make room in my veg area. Other than that 18-24 for me. Some breeders claim that any sort of dark or "sleeping" period for the autos make their yields increase. I'm not sure that works. Can anyone on here attest to the veracity of these claims?
