Alex, grow up, it takes a real little man to use the term pathetic..........LET'S JUST STOP THIS !!! Lacy is right. This is about her getting her MM card. It sounded like you were making fun and I am sorry if you were not. However, this is a thread about someone's trouble. Even if you were trying to make light of the situation by joking, it was not in the best of taste considering the thread and it's purpose. I am 33 years old with a spinal cord injury...I will never walk again....I lost the use of my right leg, part of the usage of my arm anong many other things 2 years ago, and I know all of the Bull Shit that handicapped or severely ill patients have to go through to get any kind of help, so I am sorry if I am a bit sensitive when it comes to people and their causes. So yes, you offended me and I thought you were acting like an asshole. If that was not the case and you aere truly joking, and I offended you, I am sorry. I just feel that the joke was in bad taste. So can we please put this behind us :peace: and make this thread about, what it is supposed to be about......LACY AND HER PROBLEMS...we all have our own threads for our problems....so let's concentrate on helping her.

Peace.:peace::joint:..............Biggs

Yes and thank you Mr. Biggles. Thats was very biggles of you. :mrgreen::blsmoke::peace:

I am osrry to read about your situation but in this process I am also learning that there are many others whose needs are more obviousl than mine.

It does get friustrating especially concerning this topic for me because I read some many members stating that they are getting there card just so they can smoke legally.

We that is all fine and dandy but I seriously am interested in certain strains in which I would like to try.

Being online makes it difficult to understand the tone of the context because there isn't one. This makes it so easy for any of us to add our own perception of what the other person meant which can be a good thing or a bad.

I know for a fact that I have often taken things out of context and blown them out of proportion. Its so easily done online. You don't have a smile to show or they can't hear your laughter or your tears etc....

We've all done this I'm sure :blsmoke::peace:

Lacy,
If you are just looking for a general answer, any Indica breed will provide good releif for chronic pain. If you are looking for true specific breeds, check out this site Cannabis Seeds (Marijuana Seeds) Supplier - Top quality Dutch Seeds . Once you enter (which is a couple of clicks through the home page), look up to the top left of the screen, and you will see a list of specific kinds of seeds....one of which is "Medical Seeds", If you click on that, it gives you all of these different strains that are good for medical use. It also tells you why, what each of the specific medical strains is specifically good for, the blends of the breeds and everything. It is an awesome site.....I beleive that it is sponsored by "Roll It Up.org", but don't quote me on that. A very helpfull member of Roll It Up directed me to the site when I asked the very same question that you are asking. I hope that it is helpfull and informative. Best of luck :mrgreen:

Peace, Love and Tie Dye,

Thank Biggles. Yes I am getting better with knowing the different strains. I suppose it would just be nice to be able to order some to test instead of trying the entire plant.

I can't smoke strains that are too indica -ish because then I get depressed due to a depressive disorder but I also can't smoke anything too sativa -ish because of my panic disorder. Most weed works good for taking the focus off my pain but some are just more suitable to my personality which is very important.

Being bi-polar, I have to be selective or I get put myself in an unwanted state.

Thanks for the list. I actually did an entire list myself up in the medical marijuana section but it is in the elite only section,...I think. Maybe not,:|

I know exactly what you mean, for I am Bi-polar and have Severe Anxiety Disorder as well. Thanks by the way, I'll try and check out your list....that sounds very interesting.

Oh wow:o
No kidding?
Well thats kinda cool. I feel some kind of kinship now. :mrgreen::peace:

Its not that there are not a lot of people with bi-ploar disorder, its just that there are not many people who will admit to having it.
Especially not in open forum.
So props to you Mr Biggles
It is a very frustrating disorder to have at times and at times its a blast :hump::cry: Very confusing to have sometimes. Its a good thing my husband is used to me.:-|

I have cut my meds down by half so I am very proud of that fact only. Its usually very manageable but at times I don't even know how to handle myself:roll::confused:
It can be scary at times :shock:

AND I have to admit that at times it does piss me off when I read about people asking what medical marijuana should they pick this week like it was candy of the week. wtf!

Some people claim that all of us are just trying to get a card so we can all smoke like the potheads we are and that we are ALL smoking just to get high!!!!!!

Well I do admit that I would still smoke weed even if I didn't have said disorders BUT I don't feel like all pot is the same. I have smoked some weed that has literally sent me into panic mode for hours and for someone to claim that strains don't make that much of a difference are completely wrong. It makes a huge difference especially to those of us that are sensitive.

I sometimes get some other stuff that just makes me want to eat and then fall asleep which i find a complete waste, so strain selection does make a difference to me. :blsmoke:
