why does my bud smell like this??

My bud on my saliva smells like ginger. But once you burn it, it smells like normal weed. Why is this? Most of my trichs are cloudy and I'm harvesting tomorrow. Thanks!

um what? did you use plain water for a few days/weeks before the chop down?

Yea, just plain water. It's flushed. Idk what the hell it is. Still a good smoke

it smells like that because its not mature. its said sativa needs to be harvested before all tichomes turn amber but its personal choice. when it dries itll smell different.
