This doesn't make any since anymore people are starting to wake up and realize whats been going on with the federal reserve since the bailout and since then. I'm really frightened about this it seems like the feds really are the highest authority in this country now. Its time to end the federal Reserve their just enslaving Americans and putting them in more debt the well ever be able to get out of, their just adding on to the deficit. Think about it!! The deficit has been going up and up and up its not going to get any better if the federal reserve is not taken down because they are the group that controls the money.

I know its being dealt with but i never see anyone on roll it up talking about this and I would just like to see what your opinions are.

Probably because the Federal reserve transcends any political party so the Partisan idiots on this site tend to ignore it.

We do talk about the FED.
I talked about it just last night.
It will be a cold day in hell before they Audit that I think.
HR1207 has 282 co-sponsers and like 23 in the senate.
Barny Frank will not bring it up in commitee.

Yeah man we talk about it all the time.

So if you want to learn about just do a search. And I strongly suggest you do since your buying into the political bullcrap that is just trying to scare the shit out of Americans everywhere.

And read a book, not just youtube videos. I strongly suggest anyone that is worried about banks, or the Fed, learn about it.

A good book is "The Economics of Money, Banking, and Financial Markets" by Frederic S. Mishkin.

If you actually learn about something it takes the fear out of it. Similar to being afraid of the dark, if you know where you are you won't get hurt.

I don't always turn on the light if I am going to the bathroom or kitchen in the middle of the night, because I know the system and usually have some small amount of light that lets me see what I need to.

But yeah I have no problem with a massive audit of the Fed, but would like them to concentrate on the things that need to get done first, like dealing with health care industry, the unemployment rate, new technologies, and education.

This is just a smokescreen that is political grandstanding. And a grab for more power on the Fed.

It would be the worst thing ever to get rid of the money system. You would take us back to a barter and trade system? How would I get paid? Would I have to go to a farmer to trade him something for milk, then to a egg farmer for them. All the while having to fill the back of my truck with crap to trade?

If you just mean going to gold, that is just another form of money and means nothing more than a piece of paper.

Yeah it is undeniable that they did some stupid things over the last couple years. But because they didn't have a report already filed does not mean that they don't have that information. What happens if she said a number, then new information gets added, all of a sudden it is purgery.

But also this is a good smokescreen. If people found out that This bank got X more dollars from the fed off balance sheets, in May when the banks were at their lowest points and on the verge, people would have correctly seen that as weakness and pulled out all their money from it, possibly collapsing it.

And since the system was so fragile letting one more collapse would have set off a chain reaction throughout the entire economy, and we would be in a full depression instead of seeing a real recovery.

And you ask why not let them fail, which is the simple question, it is because letting things fail simply to 'reset' the economy is devastating. And you guys worry so much about socialism, that is the exact opposite. The wealth gets redistributed to the top in a economic depression. They stay rich and the people that are totally devastated, their money gets put into the wealthy peoples pockets, it is us that has to start from scratch.

Look no further than Lehman Bros and Baer Sterns to see how bad of an effect those collapses had on the economy.

So yes again and again, The Fed is not only a good thing it is a Great thing, and one of the reasons that we are about 4 times larger of an economy than #2.

Don't bring the bs in here man. It would be chaos if life was like that.

"What's mine, is yours" type thinking is not the way to go. If you build a house... you wouldn't mind everyone and their brother coming over eating your food.. sleeping in your house? Screw that man.

Capitalism ftw.

Edit: there is no such thing as a perfect world. Human nature keeps us from it.

Yeah I am with gordon on this one.

We are not evolved enough to live that kind of world. As a society we cannot even stop screwing our friends wives, how could we be trusted to not just take everything they want and sit back while the rest are forced to work.

95%+ lost value sence the FED came out.
The FED was touted as inflation control.
It has failed.

95%+, destruction of our savings and wealth.
We would be much better off with real savings.
Stable currancy and not allowing banksters to legaly counterfit money.
The Feds money creation scheme helps banks not people.
End the FED.

Audit the FED find out who they are giving money to.
You and I are on the hook for all their loans I think we should know.
The FED caused the Bubble with artificialy low interest Rates.
Now they are posing as our saviours makin' trillions of Dollars in loans.
Don't give me this shit about
'to big to fail'
gold or silver will work just fine. (contrary to some oppinions)
