you're right I just pulled out my one pack from Ace and it has the date. Mine are 2020 - MalawiACE dates all their seeds by packing date and guarantee them for 2 years from that date. Which is reasonable as they are not in control of how they're stored after they ship them to buyers or other seedbanks. That's longer than the warranty you get from much of the grow equipment available. If stored properly seeds will be viable for much longer. I just popped a pack of ACE seeds dated 2017 and got 100% germination.
This pack of Lebanese is over 4 years old. I'll get to them within the next year and have no concern regarding their viability.

You should start a thread with your experience there so others can chime in and relate.. It is good to warn others of bad seed sellers!Packing date ain't harvest date. But then what about the fun seed sellers have in taking your money and sending you inert seeds? Maybe if you want them to sprout they can charge extra on top of the $100 for ten dead seeds.
I recently got burned this way by Newguy420 Seeds. Dead ones. but he took the money and doesn't answer emails.
Mine did the same thing, that yellowing between the veins. Still came out righteous, tight buds that taste like mandarin oranges. Started Grandpas stash and Grandpas Cookies from some nasty looking white seeds but they look fine, lots of branches for clones.Highly recommend taking clones off any Ethos White Wedding grown from seeds you can get. I popped 2 ( 3 left ) but pulled a few clones. This one is in a coco / hempy ( early flower ) .
Save them genes.

Damn, I’ve only ever had one full pack fail, probably a skill issue as I was new but the seedbank replaced it. Stick with reputable distributors and professional breeders when you buying seedsPacking date ain't harvest date.
