As I have said before, the criminal element isn't that smart. In their world if they don't know about something it therefore can't exist elsewhere.

@GrowRock it is more than reasonable to expect that amount of wait time to get authorization for any medical study. It wouldn't matter if it was cannabis or any other restricted product. Plus it is U of C which isn't known for its academic prowess.

Now that is for medical use. As a plant the production of it falls under agriculture. AgCanada is the gov entity who handles the research into growing as they have been doing for at least 35 years. To answer the questions about strains, most have come from the results of this research since it was focused on breeding desirable traits for commercialization, and even a possible alternative energy source since at the time the 70s oil crisis was underway. Production of petroleum products just like from canola, sunflower, corn, etc but the cannabis family is faster growing, more pest resilient, a bunch of other benefits so there is a significant commercial aspect. Medical and social stigma concerns are far easier to get past if the economy is on the brink of collapse.

Something the criminal element might understand comes from that Canadian comedy Trailer Park Boys. A number of episodes show them in fields of flowering cannabis, they even had a musician and her troupe help harvest. Where exactly do you think they were able to take those scenes?

(Before you answer wrong or something else stupid, I will just tell you that those fields are for research purposes)

Seems like the criminal element has been running circles around you cops for the last 70 years. I think they're smart enough to deal with the bacon. Just look at all the places to purchase BM weed online, you and your "law abiding citizens" will never stop it. You see, cops like you are stupid AF, and you'd be surprised at how many of your colleagues partake in illegal activity...and not just MJ. Talk about calling the kettle black. Let me help - the internet is more than facebook and forum posting. They have these things called search engines where you type in what you want to know and it returns with a very large number of results in a list. For each result a link is provided that will take you to that source of information.

At that point traditional learning applies. If you were able to finish the education system in Canada then it doesn't need further explanation.
