Why grow autos?

Err I don't think its anything like "The Fellow who said he Cloned an Auto" Duh!! IF you read up on the KC45 and indeed some other Autos on the market(Past and Present) while a lot of people have had NO problems with KC45 Autos others have had to flip em to 12/12 and then back to 18/6 or 20/4 or even just 24/0 with no problems whereas IF you do this with a Photo you are just Re-Vegging the plant IF I'm not mistaken PHOTOPERIOD have to remain on 12/12 so the Fact the Mine are on 18/6 in Flower tells me its NOT a Photo Period_ Autos need lots of light, the more hours the better!!

Like I said plenty of Threads where Autos have behaved strangely....

atb
i crossed a KC45 male with a purple haze #1
and almost all of the plants after i culled the tall and lanky ones out are flowering on 14/10 males went full bloom around 16/8
a couple pheno's are barely in preflower stretch
at almost 12/12

Fuck!!!! Normal Christmas trees!! If that gets wide enough I suppose 3 lbs can be achieved......what's a semi auto? Does it respond to light cycles? Or does it run on time?
its like the iranian auto veg's on 24/0 and flowers after the lights get cut back a bit
then some of the pheno's go full auto
and then some of the pheno's need atleast 8 hours or so of dark to flower
and the beans are dirt cheap
i think you may have the right kinda temps to get a big pull from them you should check them out

Well it must have been that I was getting immune to my Kosher when I thought the Pandora was good, its not lol. Pretty crappy smoke. Its only my first auto so not saying their all crap, just this one. Actually I did do a "semi auto" three years ago, mataro blue, that needed 12/14 to flower and it was ok. But not a true auto IMO.

never grown auto's too many things put me off

auto need 24 hour of light for the best yield, I could use 2x 600w for 12 hours and pull 3 time the yield with the right clones
could pull a good yield after the plants been in flower for 7 weeks 12/12 and with 9 plants under a 600w I would only need 3 weeks in veg and 10 days for the clones to root
that's 80 days from taking cutting to harvesting the plants, are auto any quicker ?

they cost a lot and you don't know how there going to turn out or smoke

just can't see any advantage of growing auto's

One advantage is an outdoor early harvest. If I can find a good one lol.

these are not auto flowering plants..they only have the trait so that it can be grown almost anywhere..its a semi auto like the easy sativa is..the gene that Kc used with this " Ruderalis is a subspecies" The Ruderalis acts to mellow the buzz a bit, making you feel less hyper than a straight-Sativa strain would. So, you end up calm, yet enlivened; pain-free and energetic too!..thats why ppl are seeing them go for so long its not a true auto flower
