well ive just heard that 400 watt hps puts out so much heat, thats why i didnt want to go that route, plus i was only planing on growing just the 1 plant. 400 watt would be extreme? lol

like i said my heats been fine but for 1 plant youll be fine with 150 , i think.. Check out this led set up

hah! thats insane! im on a way tighter budget lol.
ive seen these big ass cfl bulbs at lowes that are i think 65 watts, i think im just gonna buy 4 of those + reflectors but those bulbs have a 2700k lumen,so that would be for flowering.... so i guess i should buy a few 42 watts with 6000k lumen? dammit idk man, im kinda blazed and sleepy.
i think this is my new plan: Buy some cfl's suitable for vegging. Meanwhile, return the ufo, and buy 150 watt hps. wahlah lol sound good?

Ha-ha. I'm glad I can make you guys laugh. Well, the reason that I answered your thread, was to respond to an issue with a leaning plant - and I get the feeling that since I had four plants in one pot, I cannot be taken seriously by you. Actually, that was a mistake. My intention was 2-3 seeds in each pot, and I got mixed up.
A few plants in each pot works fine - I don't know why you have a problem with that - so I'm attaching a couple pictures I took this morning, just for you guys. Some showing 10 day old seedling, grown under UFO and the three plants in one pot - 10 days into flowering. (notice the nice straight stems)
Let me also add, that this grow was to set up the space, and get temps, light and ventilation right. My next grow will be bubbleponics, and I will be using those useless UFO leds, and as if that wasn't enough - I'll grow three plants in each 5 gallon bucket. If you want to see how ill I'll fare, you should visit my thread 'LED grow'

I have just decided that my ufo sux, i kinda was expecting this, but i didnt expect it to be so useless, i thoguth atleast it would be a good light for veg, but o well, i kno nvr to go with leds now, atleast for a few more years. My baby looks about the same today as she did yesterday when i took a pic o0f her leaning toward the fluoro, she is 8 days old and way behind. Im bout to go to home depot right now and get some cfls, then i will mail that shiit back to china and pray for some kind of refund, and im gonna order 150 hps today and expect to get it in 1 week from now, hopefully i can get this plant back on track and growing properly. At this point, do you think its too late? should i just start a new seed? or keep trying with this 1? he only thing with that is, i ordered only 2 seeds online, so I only have 1 really good seed left

yea dood ! i mudt agree. those plants look BEAUTIFUL! xspecialy under that purple lookin light. BUT in growers xperience. weed is a mEaN plant and do like their space to move and grow.
love it~ tho! itll b the best growing decisions made.
kool thing with the 150s they aint that hott so i got mine 6 inces away from canopy!! AND RAPID GROWTH!! every day sumthin new shit on my babies(& adults haha)

Hi smokermore. Thanks for your reply. You and your buddy fuzzybudz made me laugh, when you got all upset about that I had too many seeds in one pot.
In fact I got inspired. Between you guys, and Roseman's tutorial on bubbleponics, I decided it was time to give it a whirl, so this morning I put together a bubbleponics system.
Roseman may get even more upset than you, as I broke many 'rules' - but it's up and running.
I'll describe it more closely in my own thread - LED grow. Or maybe I should rename my thread 'growing with LED - hillbilly style'
I'd buy your UFO from you, if you want to sell it at a reasonable price. (I've paid between $125 and $158 delivered - for new)
Here are todays pictures of my virgin bubbleponics - what could possibly go wrong?

well heres another update lol : I went to lowes earlier and bought a 68 watt cfl and a reflector for it i replaced the UFO with the cfl, went to the post office to mail it back to china, and the dude said it would be like 55$ to fucking mail it back. so its not even worth it to return it. So now i am still going to buy a 150 watt hps set up, but for now i have the 68 watt cfl, the 90 watt ufo, and i think its a 20 watt fluoro tube, so thats 178 watts and my plant still doesnt look too happy. Im praying once i have the 150 watt hps things will change drastically. But im wondering, should i buy a 4" inline fan for that too? or will a reg ocillating fan work?
Also i would love to sell my UFO to you man. I bought it for 144$ after shipping. Ive had it for about 2 weeks now, only been running 24/7 for 8 days now. I would be really happy to get 115$ back for it, if that sounds reasonable

is that bulb 2700k or 6000k?? looks 27, but i aint sure. but if so those cfls r better fer flower cuz c how it has a red glow to it like daylight, the others look blu, those r better fer veg.
but all and all, good damn desicion. i support u 100 percent of the way, yea shell look GOOD under a 150 dood trust me any girl does hahaha!
u should do sum reading on cfls they r really helpful wen used right man the color they give off, with a mix of a couple of em makes plant thrive and really! colorful leaves and foliage all together
