Why is something else growing in soil?

i just got home and noticed that a new growth has emerged from my soil a few inches from the seedling. Im using pro-mix organic soil with added perlite and worm castings. Just wondering is this normal during a grow or is something wrong with the soil?

No it happens once in a blue moon, dont worry its nothing

Sometimes there's seeds in the soil mix u buy just rip it out no worry

Thanks. Wasn't there this morning..i watered lightly and came home to that lol.

no I took it out lol Good to know, my first attempt at a grow

Now that looks like a fungal heavy bio heard! Never sweat that - good thing!
I always add more fungals to my built soils.....

Holy crap thats some impressive mushrooms, id give up the weed and start growing them!
