why is this not growing? (pic included)

focused on sour grapes plant (6 total clones)
3 weeks veg.
250ml clean water every day with nutes @ about 350ppm, water has good drainage
temps steady 70-80F, 40% humidity
1000W hps and plenty of ventilation

as you can see, the plant next to the focused-plant it is much larger with its fan hanging off the rim. there are others equally as healthy and large. but then this one i'm focused on is the runt of the group. been this size for 2 weeks now. no growth but still lovely shades of green and no discoloration aside from the 1 bottom fan. week 1 in it had a completely dead leaf i removed.

thoughts on why its not growing?

Have these taken root? If not get them under a florescent bulb and flush those nutes out until they do. If they've got a decent root structure then your problem might be related to the strong light as well.

looks like your burning it up.. flush it out andstart again with the nuts 1/4 strength..

taken root- yes.
can't really tell from the pic but its about 11in tall. had great growth for 1 week and then just stopped.

strong light im curious about. i'm not aware of any problems with too much light. heat sure, but heat is not a problem here. please provide some info on this if you can.

what we are saying is that you started feeding them way to soon. they were way to young for nitregon... if they do not have a good root structure then all you are going to do is burn up the roots..

after sprout ushaly 3 weeks, but it all depends on the root growth in the mean while. if its have problems do to over or under watering then its going to takea little longer b4 feeding.. thats why the best of us use clear cups to start seeds so we can watch the roots..

There is a point of light saturation at which a plant will cease to be able to consume all of the light being fed to it for photosynthesis. At this point the light begins to bleach out the chlorophyll in the plant, in other words bleaching out its lifeblood. While your plant does not show immediate signs of this, too much light is more than possible, especially for a sensative clone. Most people only give clones about 25 watts of florescent light per plant (give or take oh say 10) until they're about a foot tall. It is at this point they are established well enough to move under high intensity lighting and begin some serious vegetative growth/flowering.

whats a good rule of thumb for lighting?

assuming all general conditions are optimum and i'm using hps, whats the max wattage per plant estimated?
is my 1000W hps complete overkill for 6 ? the 6 will become 12 soon, but for now i'm concerned about the current 6. seems many growers have had much luck with this config.

found many posts on this topic now. my light is not a problem at all. seems that the main concern is circulation of light and shade (just like in nature). since plants don't receive 100% light during light hours, its best to simulate the same effect.

i've often moved around the plants throughout the day which i'm sure has provided shading effects otherwise i woudl have certianly seen bleaching by now.

i'm thinking the guess of early delivery of nutes is my problem. i'll just continue with no nutes until i see improvement.
