Better government is one that reflects the will and serves the needs of the largest number of those affected by it.
Responsive government isn't the same as big government.
Do you have any historic examples of a responsive gov't?

EDIT:
....or a better gov't?
The US gov't was quite responsive to the reported event of the Syrian gov't gassing its own citizens, yet as time goes on it seems we are making exactly the same mistake we made 1 year ago in the same country based on the exactly same triggers.
The responsive gov't that did this thing is also quite large yet the responsive action above had nothing to do with the welfare of its citizens and was much to the detriment of other people.
Responsive (or perhaps more well described as reflexive) gov't does not seem to be better gov't in this situation in that we agree.

People vs Profits

Sep 7, 2005 - Mexican Army soldiers ride on a transport vehicle en route to the U.S. border on Tuesday Sept. 6, 2005. An army aid convoy carrying water treatment plants, mobile kitchens and supplies to feed the victims of Hurricane Katrina is due to become the first Mexican military unit to operate on U.S. soil since 1846.

Trumps first goal in office, have 24 million suffer a slow painful death while promoting KFC Coke.

Responsiveness is only measurable if action is taken and it can benefit Wall Street.

How do we get Corporations to stop Idolizing China and lowering our standards?

Your first line could also be used as a rationale for a gang of rapists.

If HOW you satisfy the needs (wants) of a large number of people isn't held up to scrutiny, you are really saying the end justifies the means, which is not a good way to approach problem solving or human relations.

Your second line is irrelevant. The size of the gang is important, but the fact that a small gang or a large gang of government thugs uses force as a primary means is the part you seem to blithely ignore.

Government is a faith based religious cult, which sometimes practices human sacrifice and has a host of superstitious rituals. The evidence is overwhelming.

You're a racist pedophile, the evidence is overwhelming

Yes, I had an account here starting in 2010, I stopped using it around mid 2014. Made a new account because I started growing again, and if memory serves, you were a bit different then. Although i remember you never really grew cannabis... That was kind of a joke back then, people asking you to post harvest pics.
Buck grew nice bud when i started.. its how i met buck. I started a shitty indoor cfl grow way back when. Buck ripped me apart for it. But i wasnt a bitch about it and asked for help. Before i came here i was an outdoor only grower... inside i had no clue what i was doing lol.
Back then buck was running a greenhouse and an indoor im pretty sure and was posting pics.. i joined in 2012 i think

It seems as if there isn't any persuit to having actual policy discussion, debate, or citing sources to support the arguments prrsented here. Seems like this sub has taken a deep dive since 2014. I haven't been on this site for years till recently, what happened? Is this shitposting about politics?

"Thanks Trump"

That kind of comment is 100% the problem

You DO have a point:lol:

Nothing like a good initial debunking of the troll for a quick hit..
Back in 2012, I remember a few people like cannabineer, dude with a polar bear avatar, Tyler durden, some granny too. I was in college and stopped growing pot, now I'm growing for myself so I decided to make a new account as my old one I no longer remember the password or password to my old Yahoo account. It's fine if you think I'm trolling, but actually serious. Bickering about people (and looking for any reason to shit on them) seems to be the mode of communication now. I've had much better discussion elsewhere, seems like I missed draft day and I've stumbled into a bunch of clashing ideologues. I remember there were far-right members who were accused of being Nazis, like some guy with an avatar of G.I.-joes

Ok I spent about 1/2 hr attempting to get passwords to this account, and one of them worked. This is my old account, but considering I prefer to keep the new one, I'll be using that account for the remainder of my rollitup presence. I linked for about a year on IC, and other sites before I made this account in 2011.

The schism developed when actual progressives began criticizing the 2016 Democratic primary. Then, when Clinton lost to Trump, progressives were just another avenue to lay blame while ignoring the mistakes made by the Democratic party and the Clinton campaign, even though they voted in higher numbers for Clinton than Clinton supporters did for Obama in 2008 (and yet he still managed to win).

It's a way for them to continue to avoid taking responsibility for the shitty policies the candidate they supported pushed for and lost on to a reality TV contestant

Still whining after 2 years?

That's not progressive, it's bitching about the past. All the time. Every post.

Shua1991 asked what changed, I simply responded with the truth. You call it 'whining' because you disagree with the reasoning. That's exactly what happened. Show me where I'm wrong.

I've shown you nothing but respect, don't stoop as low as others have. You're better than that.
