co2 goes off when the lights go off, and proper ventilation is key. I just use an oscillating fan, and it works pretty wekk for me.

Check it out, I know that you are likely gonna think I am full of sh-t but believe me, try this, it will make you a for sure believer and who knows, you may thank me with a little ww when you see what happens.
I have discovered these new flouresent bulbs at home depot! Ha ha ha, LOL only 10 dollars each. About 30 and some change for a two bulb shop light setup. 4 ft 40 watt flouresents and they will not only help you get your ww to flowering they will likley cause you to seriously consider a full replacement!

i took my 400 hps/mh with digital ballast, refector, all cost over 400 and replaced them with all 4ft 40 watt ott-lites ! I started my 12/12 on the 25th of this month, yes the 25th and they are all in flower, not just hairs, buds are forming and they look like they have been 12/12 for a month now! I can not even imagine yet what is to come! The bottom branches that are usually the last to show any signs of flowering are all growing out like shots from bamboo and new sprouts are comming out ever node! These are even better than what I have heard about the new UFO We will see soon enough because I have a friend that has his UFO, paid 600 + change for it and he is doing 4 plants with it, I have 16 in my 4x5x2.5 plywood box he has a 4x4 900 dollar grow tent that has all the goodies and he is using tech 5 4ft bulbs and the ufo on a mover. I was extremely impressed with his setup and thought he would have produced 3 times more than I would be able to! Ha ha ha, He has not brought himself here to see what I have been telling him. He has about half the growth of mine! If you have enough to get your self 8 double bulb shop fixtures, Under 100 dollars and get 16 bulbs, 160 dollars and build yourself a little 4x4 box, set your cannaopy about 6 to 10 inches from the bulbs, they do not get hot and you can let the leaves touch them and no burning! I have found they work better when about 6 to 10 inches away from the canapy! You want the lights on both sides and I even did the sides with 4 bulbs each. I now have a total of 960 watts from 24 4ft flouresent ott-lites! These are nothing like any flouresents ever they really work for both veg and flowering. I have grown several decent grows indoors and I know where they should be right now at 10 days 12/12 using 400 watt hps with gro lux flouresents on the sides they would just be in pre flower! Ha ha ha ha, if you want to flower your ww, do yourself the favor of getting the ott-lites, even the ott-lite drop lite. its only 17 watts and is great for getting the bottom where the plants are against another pot or wall. I am so impressed with these that who knows, I may be a represenitive for them some day!!!
Pictures upon request, untill I get a gallery setup here!!!

Yay! I've been waiting for someone to ask about books. The Frank, Rosenthal, and Cervantes books are all more or less of the same quality if you ask me. Jorge's are the most recent but his editing is also some of the worst. I also don't dig the advertising in the recent editions of some of his books. And, if there is a lot of redundant and reprinted information in his various titles. Here's what I'd suggest:

THE BIG THREE -- these guys provide the common ground in terms of most common references available.

Cervantes -- $20
-- Frank & Rosenthal. ~$3 used.

-- Mel Frank . $15 new, ~$2 used.

--For indoor small space growers. Rosenthal. $11 new, $5 used.

OTHER AUTHORS
I personally prefer the books by a few other authors. I have the above because they're such common references and because they document the changing opinions and technology over time.

Ok--

TOM FLOWERS. Books available in some heads shops and collectives if your bookstore doesn't have them and you don't want to order.

This guy is great on very specific topics. Check out these titles:

-- This book kicks ass if you feel like you need an instruction manual for hydro. $9 - $20.

--Not as good as the first, but still a nice survey of some advanced growing techniques. Needs a revised edition, there are some textual errors in bad places that the editor didn't catch that might mislead a total newbie.

GREG GREEN
This guy is great. He writes and is edited more carefully than the Big Three but his books are just as comprehensive. The Breeder's guide approaches serious science--be prepared for a healthy dose of botany and genetics.

-- $15. You should buy this. Or, there is a new 2008 edition available for preorder. So you can wait for that, or wait for this edition to get remaindered and buy it cheap.

-- This shit will blow your mind. For when just growing isn't hard enough anymore. Invent your own strains, change the world! $15

JEFF MOWTA
What I like this guy for is his Crazy Book O Setups. He has what appears to be a grow guide but is mainly an catalog of variants of various types of grow room setups. Great for looking for something with the right fit, or ideas for hybridization. May lead to stoned carpentry.

SEE MORE BUDS (GARDEN KNOWM)
The authority on CFL grows.
If I have to explain further, you guzzle too much kakk.
-- $12
(iloveyou)

THE HEAVY SHIT
Are you ready for it?

-- You are not a Jedi, yet. $17 will get you to Degoba.

-- A little more approachable and general than Clarke. I really, really like this book. It's very well written and is almost and education unto itself. $15

SO YOU THINK YOU'RE TUFF?
I am not this tough.
