Why soft light bash?????

i did this once. 20 years ago. it was one of my first grows. look where i am now. you have to start somewhere. ok you won't yeild a pound. hell you won't yeild an 1/8. but who cares. you are learning how to GROW marijuana. someday you will have a huge backyard and at that point it will all be CHILDS PLAY.

I agree the guy is just trying and he is getting some experience too. My first grow along as time ago , was some bag seed under a piece of shit 150 watt incadesent grow bulb, one of those blue ones, I had ordered one of the early copies of Jorge Cervantes' bible and this is what i did while i waited for it to come in the mail(it took 12 weeks) i ended up getting a half ounce from 4 females with that shitty light they were so tall and spindly and i was so proud, it was cool, then i got my book and 400 watt hps some good seeds and never looked back (then i could get up too half pound from 4 females no sweat)but growing with that crappy incadescent light was a fun learning expeience while it was all i had.....LOL... they are inferior lighting though that's for sure and inefficient.

I judge a plant by what it yields so if you get a joint off that I will be impressed.

Someone needs to post a journal using incandescents...I gotta see that! Keep it in good fun and try to help!

Damn...now u got me thinking...i just burned one though so forgive me for rambling. It could be like the "pimp my ride" of growrooms.....you know how they trick out a bucket car, instead of buying a new one and hook it up. Hook up some C02 and some hydroponics with top notch ferts. Get an exhausted reflector for it. Maybe even an a/c unit or some climate control. I'd watch that show!

I'll keep a journal of what Im doing and post it, Its about 3 weeks old now, tall and starteing to grow its leaves, Ill have some pictures when I pay My phone cos there on my camra phone

How tall is the plant? Are you turning the light on and off yourself?

ya, its like 3-4" inches and yes I have it on 12/12 light dark I turn it off my self

hell yea man, keep it cheap. I grow mine outdoors until sun down then throw it under a cfl for a couple of hours to keep it out of the flowering cycle. I might end up buying a 150watt hps of craigslist or something for flowering but for a first time grow why go all out.

Do you have it in a box or in the open?

Hey PD, unless you risk discovery, flower outside, man. That's what I am doing and my girls are loving it. Can't beat the natural night.
