Why the drastic difference...?

O.K. I have two Super cali Haze that have been treated nearly identical since they broke ground on the same day. The only difference is that I bent the top down a week and a half to two weeks earlier for the SCH #1 (smaller, GREENER plant on the left)...I am just wondering does this girl just need to be fed or is there some sort of infestation going on here?

Both are in Roots Organic Formula 707 in 3 gallon smart pots and are currently under t5 (regular bulbs approx same as Veg bulbs: 6, Agromax Bloom spectrum: 1, agromax veg spectrum: 1) (changing to all bloom bulbs in a week or so...I ordered the wrong size...) I was lightly feeding these but got backed off of it because I was told it could lead to problems in the end...so, 15 days ago (after 2 earlier weak feedings) I used a good GH FlorKleen flush (4ml/gal.) @ 1/2 gallon per plant, and just water until the most recent nutes, which were only supplements and each got 1/6 gallon of mix @ 1ml/gal. GH RapidStart and .5ml/gal. Aptus Plant Tech FASiLITOR (silcone)...That was one week ago today. The plants are becoming very thirsty and have been getting nealy a gallon every other day since then...yesterday, I actually used a cut-off five gallon bucket and put the pots in it and poured it in to be soaked up and each plant got all it woud hold...most right at a gollon of plain water (7.5PH, runoff @ 6.5)

I will get any other of the schedule info anyone asks for no problem from my thread as soon as I can, but PLEASE if you have a clue post on it...if you care to get all the details, thread is in my sig (current grow)...

SCH #1 (left) and #2 (39 Days from germ...)

SCH #2 With some close-up of suspect leaves...some of what you see I am pretty sure IS surface burn from accidental concentrated nutes (water evapped...)

the plant on the left look like its had too much feed. burnt tips , dark green, clawingyou should be PH ing your water/feed at 6.8, 7.5 is too high

even if the runoff reads good at 6.5? And as I said everything but the LST date was identical wih these two, and the one on the left is already frosting up so is further developed...

K I'm just confused...

I agree with @bobtokes... just different phenos with different nutrient needs. If you look back at our grow, this last plant we're harvesting has a shit ton of purple in her (the smaller one had very little if any) and she drank about a half to nearly a whole gallon more a day than the last.

Your girls look good!! Don't worry so much, if anything you could possibly have some cal/mag issues (yellowing leaves) but those are older fans, the new ones look fine. Just keep an eye out and stay on point with your nutes, those are some pretty ladies you have there!! ;)

O.K. Thanks very much!
I don't have any ph up/down, and as I have said, the run off is always buffered (ph 6.5) from the soil, I am presuming...

So the DARK green one is NOT being over fed? Help out here, i need to know when I can start lightly feeding again, as the five week rule I've been reading about with this soil has already been...

BTW, thanks rosey! Still worried how and when to proceed with feeding these...esp. if I will have to mix nutes seperately for each one...think I'll dial it back to just four plants next time lol

just back off the nutes a touch on the dark green 1, i might be tempted to up the nutes on the pale 1, but only a touch, they do look pretty tho ;)
is all i do is add a bit of plain ph ed water to the feed for the plants that dont need as much, simple.

O.K. but they have been off any type of feeding since the flush 15 days ago should I let her just dry out more before each watering? Apparently this soil is hotter than I thought... so what do you think...fewer waterings for the dark one and start a light nutes schedule for the paler one?
And yeah, that sounds good, just dilute as you go depending on what plant you are feeding... I will do that when I am actually feeding BOTH of them again...

Thanks a million for the assistance!

wolfie just done a bit of research on soil run off PH, as i grow in coco and never test the ph of the run off.
if your watering with water ph,ed at 7.5 and getting 6.5 run off then your soil is a little acidic, the fix for that is adding a little bit of dolamite lime to the top layer of soil to even things up, if you keep watering at 7.5 you may run into problems later on

O.K.

Thank you I will do that right away with all the plants...just a dusting, right (tsp. or tbsp.) per plant?

sorry mate dont know the exact amout you would put in but i would start at 1/2 a tea spoon and see how its helped on the next watering you could always put some more in if its not enough
