My plant is about 1.5 months and is growing nicely but the branches wont grow outward. i have adequate lighting and watering and the plant is growing a lot each day but it just getting more and more bunched up. I topped the plant could that have anything to do with it? and should i trim some leaves to allow light to the other leaves?

thanks

add more side and under lighting instead of just having lights above your plants... i think this is what he meant.

yeah definitely dont trim anything... the only time you ever want to trim is if you are growing witha technique that requires you do so or if your plant is so bushy that air circulation is restricted to much due to the foliage...

your plants would do alot better if you tied them down. i have found the best way to get your plants to be bushier and fuller is to lst them.

That plant is pretty small for being 6 weeks old... Are you positive it gets enough light? I see a CFL, how many watts is it and how many are you using?
