Why wont it work? HELP!!

My first season I couldn't figure out why my plants were just dropping dead after a few weeks of growth and it was because PH was off so the babies weren't able to drink/eat. I Was silly and expected all peat was the same and that's terribly inaccurate. Pro Mix has lime to balance PH, just the regular peat I was using did not include lime hence the cheaper price tag. I thought I was just saving money

I've heard that you can check the pH of your medium by testing your runoff from the bottom of your pot, I have done that and it seemed all good right around 6.6. Then I'd also heard that that method doesn't work, what do you think? And I've also flushed it once or twice with a whole bunch of demineralized water but it did not seem to make a difference

When I had PH issue I started over from scratch and had to do autos...autos suck imo lol but I added a tablespoon of lime per gal of media, mixed and wet thoroughly, wait a week, and plant. PH was perfect they grew whole time without any further ph adjustment

Yeah I tried autos as well, it didn't really make much of a difference. And when you say lime mean just regular dolomite lime from my garden store right?

Do you think it's easier with coco coir? Someone on another forum told me that it is, you just have to add calcium and manganese What's your opinion on that? And is that calcium and am available in the same product or it's two separate products

No I did not, I switched to 12 on 12 off for flowering and some of my problems went away. I'm still having purple yellow leaves though, maybe it is Cal mag like the person above suggested? And another issue is that once my plants get to a certain height they will not get any taller, the plant I have going right now I LST'd it and seems like it's growing better buds below, but it's not getting any taller. And I've always heard that a plant will almost double in height when you switch photoperiod. Is that true

What you need to learn is how to read the plants so that you can give em what they need/want when they need/want it. As example those that have said it is over watered can tell because the leaves are drooping. If the stems were drooping as well it would be under watered, I know it can be confusing.

And you should NEVER flush a baby or young-un, flushing is to remove salt buildups that happen over time. Your plant is not old enough to have salt build ups.

The yellowing is from low N and Mag, the burn spots were mostly caused when you flushed ? but maybe not ? Either way they are a lock out most likely from a Cal to Mag ratio imbalance

First you would have to explain everything you have done already, you will need to mention what your plant is growing in, what you have been feeding it, what kind of lighting it's been exposed too, how long has it been growing for? Fill in these detail gaps then people can start telling you it's been starving for weeks and has been overwatered as well as having ph issues:peace:
