please fill me in with all of ur reasons for getting the specific AG's that you all own... how u got it, if you paid for it, why you chose that particular model and if there are any advantages to any of the specific models... as i know with the deluxe it has more grow sites more lights bigger res 24 hr light setting trellace system and a much taller light...bongsmilie

ah, see the free ones i understand.. but i dont get why someone would buy anything but the DELUXE for cannabis... since the size is more ideal and the lighting... you cant beat it.. in the AG world at least.

Got the original one b/c it was the only avail in stores. I didn't want to order one, I guess it was an impulse buy. I was a noob to hydro, so I didn't feel like DIY would be the best idea. Ended up building my own CFL fixture for more lighting, adding the airstone and only flowering two plants in it. Now the lid is part of a clone box, the CFL fixture is part of a veg box, and I have 600 w HPS for flowering. Switched to soil b/c I prefer the taste of soil grown. IMO the AG (no matter what size) is a waste of money. DIY is really not that hard, and it's cheap and more suitable for what you want to grow.

Yea it was totally worth the experience, but I could have managed without spending the 150 or whatever it was.

Well if its not good enough for weed than use it to get a jump on tomatos. It starts tomato seeds fast. Wonder if any poppy seeds made it in the AG yet...i wanna invest in this company, anyone know if "Aerogarden" trade stock? HAHAHA although I don't think the poppy thing would work since those things grow in the dessert, right?
