im toying with ideas...

downside of coco seems to be tendancy to dry out easily. could coco/ worm castings sustain capillary feeding for effective growth?

appreciate any thoughts

thanks

Mix in some vermiculite and perlite. And I would say your good. Wouldn't go more then 20% castings. Turns into dence mud. Perlight will help give air if mix is to thick and vermiculite will help if it's to light.

i would only germinate in the worm castings because it will get stagnant, it would be much better in my opinion to germ in castings to innoculate your roots and then a diff mix , ive heard great things about coco but i am not sure if it will wick up like you think. I agree with warlock mix in the perlite/vermiculate. maybe you could think of some other inert medium that is denser that still allows airflow. either that or straight fine+coarse coco so its almost like dirt but coarser. then add some hydroton/clay pebbles to allow airflow? lol idk just throwing u some ideas i thiink only u can decide what to do. just remember that guano can turn bad and create bad stuff
