Widow Cindy, ebb and flow in rockwool from seed. The Epic.

earl I got pics coming. My camera battery died. OW.

Anyway, I have a question. how much water should a little sprout in rockwool get.

I assume some drying out is the right choice. I keep it 77 degrees in there. I am checking it every hour. 10k lumen 6500 t5 5 inchs up. Fan in there too.

It dries pretty fast. I rem before I had no prob but now I kinda doubt all. After screwing up cloning and losinf a fem seed for no reason i wont be happy till I get these into veg and a mother ready.

I have never used ROck Wool

The seed need to be moist until it "pops"
once roots are out of the cube
then you can let the cube dry out.

What size are your cubes ?

the seeds are in 1.5 in blocks. they are heading to 4 in rockwool blocks after that.

they are 3 days old sometime today. it is not exact. lol.

the pics are bad, better ones are coming. the camera is charging.

the cotelydons are there. not the best I have ever seen. the first leaves can be seen slowly starting to grow.

77 degrees. 5 inchs under t5. 10k lumens. 6500k.

rockwool is very easy to germ in. very easy to sprout in. just keep it wet. either pre-germed or from seed. Never had a problem with this portion. lol. I like the fact I can keep the roots safe in the rw block. If you ever read the grodan website it is fascinatng stuff for plants. very nice.

i got some definate growth on the seedlings. The leaves are coming. Man on the green channel they all got some hydroponic stuff going on. All outdoor.

One guy had 40 plant hydroponic towers that take up like 3 feet. Plants on the outsie of each system. Lol, funny to watch the backward hydroponics of outdoor. With the light on the outside of the system. Tall colums.

I guess flat aeros do ok outside.

i plan to put my 12 2 liter bottle ebb system outside on my balcony for herbs. Basil otta mask the marijauna smell pretty good.

update, same day. rofl.

Like I said, I don't know how to grow in rock wool.

To hold anyone over as my boring seedling furthe enfold past cotelydon to beginning leaf hear are pics of a 4 week nothern light. In full flower her splendour complete, LST"D!!!, and doing fine with a heavy flower mix of kool bloom and bloombastic.

Careful with Koolbloom. I use a quartet tsp a gallon. Bloombastic is HUGE. P booster and enzyme. Like 2 things in one. I love it. Expensive as shit. I gonna use only this my next res change. Only a little of it, for now.

Good news! I begun germing 8 more widow cindys. I am excited. Pics of all coming.

My NL cloning project wont be ready for next grow so I gotta start this now. My tried and true method. Except this time I will be springing for ro water and hydroguard and superthrive to begin the little girl lives. None of the h202 and tapweater I was using that I think might be a little counterproductive.

The other seedlings are doing good. i cant remember if this is slow but It is day 4 and I can make out leaves on leaves. Not much I can do but keep them fed and war, at around 75.

If you have the money
purchasing a RO machine is a real back saver,
and it eventually saves you money.

This strain hates tapwater.

I have seen two growers loose their WidowCindy crop
after they flipped the lights to flower.

The plant demand for Mg was so high,
that they were dead in days.

not much news. I have 8 widow cindys germing. they are still under paper towel. i know you said to do otherwise, earl, but it;s all I got on hand except for some shitty nuted off soil I used for a ficus I got as a gift. i poured hydorguard all over her though .

the 2 widow cindys are looking ok. theya re a little slow I think. might be due to the tapwater they got tostart off. ilet it sit out but still it was once chloininated.

i am going to buy the ro machn before they get too big. it si on the list. i need a charcoal filter right now. and a tent. i got smell issues with my flower girls. i posted elsewhere.

my nl was out like a shot from a gun. so was the fem cheese. so were the last 2 widwo cindys.

the only thng diferent is a little hydorguard in the solution. also a little superthrive. I hope i did not fuck them up.

I would go with plain water to germ, R/O if ya can. I think with no roots they can't take up any of that stuff anyways.... IDK ?!? are you germing in rockwool or papertowl method?

You are the only person having trouble germing these beans.
everyone else is having 100% success.

Buy some distilled water to germ them
and do not add anything to it.

Hope you have some left.

crap if I know. I seeded a girl I had and have had 100 percent success so far practicing germing.

some seeds were in pretty bd shape. broken. IDK> sure the seeds manufacturer did a good job.

update. widow cindys are taking off. looking very good.

RO water, hydorguard, superthrive. all smiles from them since dropping the tap water, h202, and superthrive.

earl, all the widow beans did not crack. here is the lay of the grow bean master. hehe, sorry but i gather kissing your ass is tradition. now, I got 2 healthy seedlings, i got 2 in rw just germed I have peeked at nd see growth, they are in a mini greenhouse with heat mat and high humidity. Also i have 3 more in paper towel that look promising. Also I have 2 more in a pill bottle ungermed.

earl, i dont think it was anbodys fult that the had some probs. the mail ate a few plain broke them to bits and a few others got some crushing. It was the mail man.
but i should get 6 at least. All my estimtes are conservative. Until I reveg my northern lights and get clones from her and find my glass pipe and seed stash I will be running only widow cindys! Hope for some ladies. I predict i get cloning this time round. It worked the first time. Plus I might run the bagseed again. She ws nice and cloned easy and even thoguh she was seedy bagseed the seeds I made from her grew some bushy plants.

I just bought a marijauna garden book with 5 indoor gardens. its in the mail. I dream now of 5 big trees under 5 1000 watters all run on solar power. Not hard. I a watching the green channel 24 seven for fun and I might hve to have rachel begely over to inspect and consult. hehe. also nifty wind pwer. if you cant afford solar you can rent them. it is now trendy to go off the grid and that should make growing a lot safer until the cops ctch on. I just howp they kick in my door with out a knock first. lol, I am trying to stay legal, but i got a 3x3 with 30 rockwool blocks sitting here.
5 trees, 5 thousand wtters. pound a tree. fun

anyway, stiva really helps with opiate withdrawls. i was laughing my ass off and cleaing house.
