Will a booster fan pull through a carbon filter

maybe- i use a 4" vortex fan for mine and i think cfm is around that. i have one of those inline fans for my cool tube, and they have a decent pull.

Ya that should be ok, I am using a 165 cfm now with a carbon filter and it pulls the air threw just fine

yes i use the same fan it works it fits right on this filter u dont even need the flange. and 35 bucks for a filter is a sweet deal.

Sangers, I haven't tried it yet but I believe so. Also you can get a fan like that at homedepot for the same price, save you the shipping.

yes sangers it works.. and yea im sure home depot sells the booster fan but if they dont the spot that sells the filter has the fan also.
