Will a Lava Lamp's Light be Sufficient for a Few Days and Will My Seeds Die?

I just planted a few of my germinated seeds a half an inch below a surface of dirt. I plan to transfer them to an outdoor area in a week or two. The problem is that I am depending on the sun's light and it will be cloudy/rainy for the next week. Will a lava lamp's light bulb be sufficient for a few days?

If the seeds are already cracked and the roots are halfway out, will they die without sunlight for a week?:dunce:

Football i feel the pain in ur signature....April 6th 2012 i can smoke :/
i gotta erase that that sig. i haven't smoked in 13 months. but i'm going to start up again in a couple of weeks. none of my friends smoked so it was relatively easy. however in the beginning it sucks. hang in there and keep your eye on the prize!

Its fine if its gonna be cloudy outside, they will still get a lot more light and do better outdoors than under a lava lamp light.

Here is something to wrap your brain around- I have a 4ft 4bulb T8 with 2 5000k and 2 6500k bulbs I started seeds under. With my light meter it showed just under 3000 lumens, I walked out on my front stairs(outside) on a rainy overcast day and was reading 5000-6000 lumens. Put them out, going to get more light even on a cloudy day than anything short of a HID will put out.
