Will a super compact indoor plant stretch if transplated outside?

Ive been vegging this indica plant for 2 and a half months, i transplanted it outside today and they been in 600 watts LEDs for vegg. They are topped and internodes are tightly stacked and it is 8 inches tall. Im wondering will it stretch outside? Since it will be under the sun at full spectrum? Im in socal so id like it to be a lil taller b4 12/12 hits outdoor

Depending where you are in Cali. It might already be close enough. IT doesn't need 12 hours, it can flower with 13 give or take.

Plants always stretch in flowering.
