will air purifier with uv-c light help fight white powder mold

hey you guys, I am on my 3rd grow and have been fighting white powder mold pretty much the entire time. does anyone know if a small air purifier that utilizes a uv-c light is worth the money, will this type of air cleaner help with the white powder mold. the label says it will kill 99.9 % of germs and mold spores but i was just wondering if anyone knows or has used one of these with sucess. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks RIU.

i think its good for the plant odor's too... but hey im no expert
