im sure it would be fine if the fireplace isnt in the same room as ur grow, fireplaces take alot of moissture out of the air

Never heard of a question like this before. Interesting...but no definitive answer. What type of fireplace? How well insulated? Blowers? And the list goes on....

Like always, as long as the plants receive what they need to grow then it's ok. There isn't any byproduct of a fire that will affect the plant that I'm aware of.

I hope this helps. :-)

My tents are in my basement which is heated by a pellet stove. Burning wood does create a lot of dust and when running flat out due to cold temps outside it will drop your humidity to low numbers. Think I'm sitting at 40% with it off and on, and with it running hard I have to turn on the humidifier to keep the humidity at 40%. I'm not sure of any difference in yield; this run finishing up next week will be my best yet but I feel its more from getting the room dialed in than anything else.
