thats pretty bad for an 11 week vegged plant and using 600w hps/mh.... im not tryin to be a dick or nothing but with the money you spent on power and everything for the payoff seems like youll pay more into growing it then its worth. id say get a smaller light or bigger area with more plants and the lights you have

NO offense taken home boy skervy, anything you say is either true or false, and in this case u speaka da truth. i am a little disapointed also about the fact of the matter/ i did spend a lot of money on the light and ballast/ electricity isn't running too much higher though but i'm still forkin it out YAO MING. i got plenty of room for about 6 plants that size, i got about 8 seedlings started and they are almost 2 weeks old i didnt mark the date. i am going to reveg the plant i have flowering now. i am going to keep it in veg from now on. it isn't going to flower again till next winter, i am going to go perpetual. that was my intention the whole time, i just got a little bit curious about sex and went ahead and flowered. i read that it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and flower i am just going to leave the bottom 33% of the buds and let it reveg. its no big deal. i am tired of smoking shit weed.

actually i vegged for 8 weeks. my cam had the wrong time and date on it and i figured out how many days it was off by when i noticed it, it was set 21 days previous to the actual date. then i looked at the date of the pic i took at 10 days n figured the actual date it came out of the ground three weeks later and refigured the time of veg before the date i switched the light.

looks like an early harvest to me... if you would have let it go longer you would have got fatter buds... how long did you have it in 12-12? how big was your plant when you finished? if it was a foot after you were done vegging, it should have doubled in hieght! i had a two foot plant that yielded an 1.7 oz with cfls!!! but you were using MH and HPS?? somethings wrong id say... still looks decent tho... it can only get better right??

Listen man, you got to throw out all that stuff in your head about what books say. Do yourself a huge favor and look up Uncle Ben on this site. This is constructive criticism, not trying to be a dick, OK? For a six hundred, your buds look like you picked them early, they are airy and not tight. Not to say that isn't the strain but it looks like you grew an indica which should be a relatively big yielder with tighter nugs. I vegged my plants for twenty one days, they're over three feet tall. I just chopped three of them yesterday, the one had a main cola weighing 129 grams, wet of course. I'm not saying books are bunk, I have more than a couple myself, I'm just saying what Uncle Ben says, learn to read your plants and not get caught up in the hype of growing. Use the back of your hand rule for your lights. Hold your hand under the light at the height of the tallest bud, if your hand is hot in ten seconds, it's too hot for your girls. The closer the light the better unless you start to see bleaching of your leaves. Mine are no further than ten inches from the top of my tallest bud, maybe even eight.

Here's a couple of pics from my chop yesterday.

yeah there is something wrong, i agree, i think it may be the soil that i mixed. i may have put too much cal/mag(vitalime) i hear that too much calcium can/will stunt growth dramatically. i used a peat moss mix and had no way to check the ph throughout the grow, i know peat moss is pretty acidic. i am going to get some fox farm next time i've seen some undescribable growth within the first two weeks. i vegged this one plant for 8 weeks and it was barely a ft tall. i had it in 12/12 for 12 weeks. it is an indica dominant/ i have no idea what ruderalis looks like, but i hear it doesn't produce what a grower may look for. it may b a ruderalis plant/ IDK. i still have about 10 gallons of peat moss. i had a 4 cu. ft. package and mixed with perlite and vitalime. no organics, i used rain water with miracle gro plant food but saw no miracle LOL.it may suck but it kept the plant alive. please give any advice

I would keep it simple til you know what you are doing. There are so many variables in there how could you really figure out what fucked it up?

Had a quick read of this thread and ive read that some people are vegging for 8-11 weeks! i only veg for 2-3 weeks which at this stage plants are approx 1ft and bushy which is ready for 12/12. plants when finished will be around 3-4ft each yeilding 3-5 ounces a plant dried!

ok i think i figured out wtf is up with the plants. the miracle gro all purpose plant food is lacking on some trace minerals. i read the back of the bottle and noticed that it doesn't have sulfur, boron or copper in the mix. so i decided to get some different nutes. maybe flora nova, they have all the essentials. any other name brands i should consider. i am going to b getting fox farm soil also. any other soils i should consider. input is always welcome and appreciated.
