how many lumens? I doubt it. I think t8 would give you together lie 5k lumes. You want like tha for each plant man. You could but you get a bunch of cfls at 2000 lumens each or a couple of t5s for like 70 dollars that give you at least 10k along the 2 feet or you could get a 150 hps for anywhere between 20 to 100 dolllars htat give you 15k in lumens.

your best bet if i gues your situation correctly is to keep the t8 s and add like 2 more cfls per plant. Maybe 3, get 42 watter 6500 k models. That should nto cost a whole lot and that will give you some pretty girls. It maes a huge diference whenyou get to flower and i speak fromexpereince when i say you dont want to waste like 6 months for a tiny bit of bud that say 50 cuks might have saved you.:)

go to the home cheapo and buy a couple hps lamps 100 dollars each . you get an extention cord, the lamp, some electrical tape, and wire nuts. match up the colors in the lamp to the wires on the stripped extention cord, wire nut em up tape em for a little extra safety and your good man

my current vegging area is

- 4 48in t8s as top lighting
2 24in T12 and
2 42W CFLs as side lighting

I believe this to be suffient for my babies, 8 plants in 1 gal grow bags, all are staying very short and bushy.
