Will it live?

I was just outside and I stepped on a wire holding down one of my plants. It was topped and looked more or less like a wide "Y" and it split about a quarter inch down the main stem..
I tied the two stems together to close the wound.. What should I do? Will it live? :-(
(I'll try to get pics up in a few)

yes just wrap some tape and a popsicle stick and it should be fine...it could or might even bounce back stronger...ive done this before...everything worked out..even after it looked sad for a couple days

Should be fine, plants are hardier than most people give them credit for. Just keep an eye out for pests & disease, once the wound is closed you should have no problems.

It opened again and I had to stake the other side towards the middle to keep the gap tight..

Only a little damage. I don't think thread is a good choice for tieing plants. They are gonna get so heavy and thread isn't enough to keep them upright. You could cut off half of the one stem to make it easier on the plant. Use it to make clones if you like.

I actually used a steel wire.
And yeah it has preflowers :D (although I don't know if you'll be able to tell)

The one on the side of my house looks a lot better to me, although not many fan leaves..

Anyway the plant is looking good, so this will probably be the end of this thread. Thanks everyone.

2 weeks ago i was trying to manuver mine ariund to let the smaller shoots get to the ligh and completely broke one off all but a tiny thread and i instantly wrapped tape around it but left a little overhang to pull tape of and yesterday it was healed completely! pull em together and wrap somr tape around both forks and check it in a couple weeks. DAMN JUST NOTICED THIS THREAD WAS OVER! LOL LOOKING GOOD BRO.
