Will my baby be okay?

So i have a seedling with 2 sets of leaves with one more barely growing. A week ago they were doing great then one day the cotyledons turned yellow and I assumed it was natural because they usually fall off eventually, then my serrated leaves turned yellow, then got a brown tip at the end of the leaf, not edges, then it started to get brittle and crumpled, then it spread to the rest of the leaves. I thought it was a calcium deficiency at first so I smashed some eggshells into really fine pieces then mixed it in my soil, then I looked it up and it could also be a low ph, because acidity mimics a calcium deficiency, so I sprinkled a little baking soda on my soil then watered, the plant hasn't been getting worse since I did these things, but the damage is already done. ALL my leaves are yellow, brittle, and crumpled, but I don't think they're dead. It hasn't grown at all since the sickness started. Do you think it will pull through? Also, will it still be able to grow more leaves if all the current ones are really weak and possibly dead?

Before you ask: I don't have the ph of my water or soil, so I don't know for sure. I'm using miracle gro peat moss and some top soil of hapi gro. In a styrofoam cup

Indoor under 1 cfl, 2 inches away. Watered when dry

Im thinking, root zone PH caused by excessive peat moss or she got nuked by the miracle gro. Go to a garden store and build you a nice mix of soil. It doesn't have to be named brand, just buy a bag of organic soil,a bag of organic amendments(please read the contents in the bag and use you're "google" skills) make sure you also get some perlite if the soil doesn't have any pre-mixed. Make yourself a forgiving soil mix to get you through veg. You will have plenty of time to make another batch of soil for bloom while you are vegging, that way you can transplant 2 weeks before flowering.

1.) Was it bagseed?

2.) What brand soil?

3.) Did you feed it fertilizer?

Please be specific...
It was bag seed,

I stated earlier it was mostly hapi gro topsoil and a little miracle gro peat moss

I didn't feed it ferts until last night

@ SPL, I already got some nice organic soil with perlite, but do you think I can transplant it now? Or what should I do?

Start again. That can't be more then a few days old anyway. Germ one now and you'll be at this stage again by this time next week.

Alright, I'll get some more seeds and try to germ by Thurs. do you think this one could pull thru too?

I started with 8 seedlings, this is the last one. I wasn't cut out for growing lol

Go spend $15-20 on a bag of fox farm ocean forest, you'll get about 15-20 gallons. Use only that until there 6"-12". Trust me, you won't regret it... Theyll grow 10x faster... Just my advice tho, you being new... It'll help you out a lot...

How about over-water issues or nobody had the time to notice that? If over fert seed would not grow roots, a plant that size would be stunned for week before showing any serious health issues. I could say this plant is a goner but I've seen plants pulling trough anything so give it a shot.

Note: I would suggest u let the soil dry well before next water and next time mix a lot of perlite for good drainage.

Too late imo. If you still have seeds, try again.
