Will odor eliminators effect my plant?

Hey guys, I am going to be growing an auto soon and I really need to control the smell.
I went to home depot and I am going to have one of those glade things you plug in that releases that strong smell.

I'm also going to put a couple odor blockers in my room, they are like the ona gel stuff where you just open the lid.
So I was wondering if I put all these odor blockers in my room will it affect my plant in any way, such as the smell of the plant because I don't want my plant to smell like one of my odor blockers.
Thanks guys.

It's not going to hurt anything, but it's not really going to help a whole lot either. Air fresheners don't get rid of the smell, they simply attempt to cover it up. You're going to have a very funky smelling room.

The only two things that will actually eliminate the odor is an active carbon filter or Ona Gel. Pretty much anything else is going to just add more odor, not really get rid of anything.

With all due respect, I find that more than a bit difficult to believe. You're inhaling the air freshener directly when you use it anyway. It's not going to be any more effective in trace amounts on the sub-atomic level from a single bowl.

Well, then you're the only human being I've ever come across to ever say that. That said, I'll rephrase my previous statement:

It's not going to hurt anything except for one individual's personal experience that I know of, but it's not really going to help a whole lot either. Air fresheners don't get rid of the smell, they simply attempt to cover it up. You're going to have a very funky smelling room.

There. Happy?

I agree with the fact you need an odor absorber but do not put it in your grow room put it in the next adjacent room.

You can put a scent based in the room of the grow or even add some spearmint to your grow. But you need odor absorbers if you lack carbon filter setup. Good luck!

Air fresheners are a joke .....if you spray them after you take a shit all it does is make it smell like you shit in a flower garden ....or on a cinnamon stick .....stinky weed stinky room

I would recommend more walls than an air freshener. The smell will be strong and they do make carbon filters to take up the smell.

Precisely. That's why I'm glad I have a basement. I just open the windows and vent the air. I'm backed up to protected wetlands, so there's nothing behind me. It's perfect.

Get activated carbon filter and inline fan. Long time ago my friend decided to get Ona gel from the grow store to cover up the smell. Had a kitty litter box full of it next to the bloom tent. Bud looked fine when harvested but also tasted like a dryer sheet. Whole crop was tossed. Even the root ball smelled like Gain. Don’t use air freshener cannabis plants absorb everything around them.
