Will saving her work?

So a few months back, I gave a friend of mine an extra plant of mine because I didn't have the lights to sustain her, and he was interested in growing a plant. She was just a seedling and he had 2 23W CFL's on her, vegged her for like a month and a half or more, and then switched her to 12/12 about a month ago. STILL using only 2 CFL's...so she was 6' tall, and she grew a few hairs but due to his laziness to get more lights. So now...

I HAD to save her somehow to grow any sustainable weed, it was driving me fucking nuts the way he was depriving her. So I convinced him to get some more lights which he'll get tomorrow, but I had him chop the top of his plant and try to reroot her in hopes that the new lights he gets will help bush out some of the branches and grow some buds. I then took the next part of the stalk (essentially "topped" now) and brought it home am trying to root her and fill her out into a little beauty. She was on a 12/12 cycle with 2700K light spectrum...

Now she's in soil, I threw the 6500K bulbs on in hopes of "revegging" her a little bit. I plan to put her back on a 24/0 cycle. I've got a few grows under my belt but I've never tried this and am hoping on some tips to get the cutting I took to grow into a healthy, budding plant. I'm looking for any tips or suggestions. Thanks in advance guys.

It's not a her...
Yes, it IS a female...there is a shot with the calyx and pistol.

They aren't seed pods. After a month in 12/12 at his house, she only grew one calyx per branch. I'm trying to revert her back into veg on 24/0 to strengthen and LST hopefully before throwing her back into 12/12.

Sorry about that then, looked like it in the first picture. Nevermind me :)

She's really drooping today, I trimmed her lower branches off, I really want to avoid trimming anything more...
