Will these LEDs hypothetically work

Hey guys this is just for my knowledge but I have daytime led high hats that are 9.5w 65w equivalents 5000k and I have 2700k.

Why wouldn't I be able to grow with these? Or would I? I can veg with the 5000k and bloom with the 2700k. Really question is how many would I need and I think that's where it's not practical if going for 100w/plant you would need 10 bulbs=95w for just one plant correct?

How do LEDs work lol I'm I see people say they save on energy and I see these 300w led panels that use 90watts so isn't that led panel only good for 1 plant bc you go by the actually wattage correct?

How are LEDs more economical on the energy bill if your still using the same amount of watts. 400w from hps or 400w from led is still going to be 0.4Kw/hr correct? Or am I wrong and that 300w led that is using 90w can be use for 3 plants delivering each 100w

You can veg with candle light if it makes you happy, give it ago, but keep them close, and a fan nearby, the more leds the more light, and plants never get enough light/lumens, also led light systems have drivers and cooling fans so add another 20% power for adjustment

Yeah that's what I thought as long as its the right spectrum.

But what about the wattage how many plants can you veg under that 200w led? Bc 200w is the equivalent correct its actually watts are less.

I can't figure out how many plants I can grow under the LEDs based on the watts

Im on my first grow, and im using LEDs. I have a 3x4 area. 1 300w china ebay LED for under $150 is more than enuf to veg with. I had 5 plants. Now that im flowering, i bought 2 more 300w panels. Im at $311 spent for 900 watts. I have 4 2 month old girls and 5 2 week old seedlings flowering right now. I could drop 300w if i needed to, but the more light, the more bud.

Cool thanks! That's exactly the answer I was looking for. One of those china ones comes out cheaper than setting up cfls or t5s. Imgoing to stick with a 400w hps to flower for now not to play around it's tried n true
