Will this bulb fit this socket?

You will save time and money if you start out with good lights..I spent a good deal of money on really large Mogul base CFLs that have to have special plugs and reflectors for them and all this, only to find that they freaking sucked for growing...so then I had to buy all the stuff for HPS/MH...which costs more than the CFLS to begin with...so now I have 2 300w CFLs, one in each spectrum, and the sockets and reflectors, just sitting in my closet not being used...so when you think that CFLs will save you money...they won't...not really...not if you are looking for the bang and the pow in your grow...

If I had a quid for everytime I've heard that! CFL's are my only option and that's going to stay the same for a while so. I've got a dual spec 125w already, just for one plant, looking to add that 25w 6400k during veg, then a 25w 2700k for flowering. Would be ideal if that bulb will fit, I have no idea with bulbs and stuff.

Been helping a good buddy from the UK grow some autos. He used a 125 blue and a 250 red ( from here http://www.lightsystems.co.uk/bulbs.htm ) and grew 3 ak autos and got an oz a plant with no special techniques first try. Cheap, easy and expandable. As missnu said its not the end all but I think they work great. They aren't going to light a 5 foot plant but it will work on autos and a photo 1 month veg. If you lst or scrog they cover the space great. Oh and a tip I think for some reason its a little cheaper on that site if you add the bulbs and the reflector to the cart separately. Don't know why....one click convenience fee lol .... idk??
