  • Heck no, you need to change _____ (show in post, includes question of box height)

  • Yes, but you should definitely add the other two lights, the height is fine if you train like that.

  • Yes, but you should make it taller (specify in post). Extra lights are optional.

Is this project feasible? I already have 2 sprouts. One is about 2 to 3 inches tall and just barely showing her second real-leaves coming out between her first real leaves, which came after the first 2 round petals, and the other one is only like barely an inch tall but has more of the second set of real leaves than the first one! Any idea why, and is this grow box/training plan feasible for two plants?

Would making it 6 to 12 inches taller make enough room for more plants at once or even, is it necessary/13.5 inches too short, even growing sideways like this? First time grow ever (had a diff thread recently), and very limited on budget and space.

I have already: 1: the 25w t8 sp41 bulb and ballast. I tried to find it online it seems to be 4100k, it is very blue/white light when running - is it possibly good/fully worth testing on this first grow?

2: the cabinet

3: the two seedlings, under a dinky 14w, 60w equiv soft white CFL with a globe over it just for heat alone and been putting them in the window during the day

4: the computer fan and a 12v cell phone charger to splice, and a meter to find pos/neg on charger

5: the fixture I can use for the extra cfl in the middle of the grow box, currently running the dinky 14w cfl to heat the sprouts, and to run whatever the best cfl i can get for now is, alongside the 25w tube. I am also considering making the option to run three, 2 on either side of the one in the diagram, but it wouldn't be until later and only if it really would be needed (I think these lights will be plenty without adding 2 more?) More info in the image.

So, are these plans feasible/worth pursuing? Should I definitely rig-in some extra heigh under the cabinet? I didn't want to take out the bottom and add onto it, it seems really nice this way, only I am worried about the height? The flower pots are going to be at least 6 inches tall, can I bend a plant far enough to use the 3 feet horizontal space with about 7 and a half inches space over the top of their rims?

I am confident it will work because I see awesome little grows inside of computer cases, but I wonder from pros and people with experience greater than mine if this is possible/might work well as I plan in image/or if it won't work unless I do the image plan but make the cabinet taller? Thanks all, I love you forum! There is a lot to answer here, I will love your help, the more explained the better, thank you so much for being here for first timers and newbies!
