will this work to hang my 400w hps/mh

ok so i my order from amazon came in today i got everything advertised in this kit http://www.amazon.ca/LEDwholesalers-Electronic-Ballast-Hydroponic-Complete/dp/B003C2UOMM/ref=sr_1_1?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1392665434&sr=1-1&keywords=400w+hps+ki other then the hangers but they did send me some ratchets. So i tried to use zip tie's make shift hangers. I am just curious and kind worried as to if they will melt from the heat so far i can keep ym hand on the top of my hood with out gettign any real burn probably 90-100 degrees f but not sure if that's going change over time or if they can even handle that also worth a note this are the smaller zip ties as there the only ones that will fit in the hanger holes. If anyone ever done this or knows of this kinda DIY please comment. Thanks in advance.

those are what i got its the small triangle hangers for the hood i don't have to attack them to my hood is odd it has very small holes to get the hangers into so if the steel is wider then say 2-3 mm its not going to fit. I sent them a massage to replace the missing shit so hopefully i just need a temp fix. also would small wire works like chicken wire or would i be better off with the zip ties as they can lock into place vs just getting twisted together and hoping they don't undo?

If in doubt use bath plug chain... I prefer, or picture hanging wire ...only $5.00 at your auto store or junk shop I'm glad I did just for piece of mind

ill check out the wire the chain wont fit due to the small holes for the hangers to fit in. I would like to use anything steel just so i know it cant melt and fall even more so for when its on and i am not in the house to watch it. Also gana look at trying to find a old steel hanger. No i have not cash nor the ability to set up dock work to vent the room unfortunately. I live in a apartment and the holes in the door and walls along with the sound of one of those 400cmf fans would make it very hard to keep as a stealth grow i am afraid. so for me its open widow in the winter (colder then shit were i live) and ac in the summer to keep the room temp a nice 70 degrees and a carbon filter air purifier and ona gel to get rid of the stink lol.

Hard to believe those triangle hangers won't fit the holes. Are you sure? If you are sure, don't you have any way to ream out the holes a little bigger?

they would fit but the company did not send them with the rest of the order so i have to wait for them to resend a package with them and that will be in another week or so. so till then i was looking for a temp fix sense my girl's are in flower already and were only under a 90w led at the time. happy to say so far the small zip ties are holding up and the top of my reflector dos not seem to be getting over 100 degrees f. But still looking at getting some wire in the mean time in the next few days for peace of mine trusting my plants and house to two small zip ties is a bit nerve racking for me.

Oh I gotcha, Ace hardware carries the small chain and you can get length cut to whatever. I wouldn't use plastic zips, just my two cents
