Will using a recirculating carbon filter scrub out my Co2?

Will a carbon filter in my room scrub out my C02? I have an extra carbon filter and in line fan. I want to put the fan on top of the filter and put it in the middle of my room as an odour scrubber. If I do this will my filters absorb my Co2? If any one has ever tried this with a Co2 monitor I would like to hear from you. With the price of Co2, Propane and carbon refills you can see why I need to figure this out.

Just put your carbon filter near the ceiling. CO2 is heavier than air and sinks to the bottom of the room. It won't go through the filter at all.
