WILTED WIDOW PLANT! need help

i have a wwxxx plant inside an aerogarden deluxe sharing the space with a hindu kush plant. they are a week old an have been grwoing very rapidly and have remained healthy, until today. the ww plant is dreadfully wilter, im talkin all the way to the surface of the a/g. the plant is still nice and upright, but the leaves look quite sad and droopy, which in part is makin me quite sad aswell. the hk plant seems a little wilted, just a bit of low leaves, but for the most part seems to be unaffected which leads me to believe it may be the preferences of the dif strains. it seems to me though that the kush is a much stronger and less finicky plant because it hasnt needed any special attention so far and has been growing excessively. i also have a kush and widow plant in pots. the kush in pot seems to grow slower but looks very even, level, and very very healthy, and the ww in a pot is taking its sweet time, and is one third the size of the others. i have a feeling since its in a a/g, they may be wilting from excess water perhaps. also, i left the window open last night for a nice cool breeze to come in, and when i woke up to turn on the lights, i found the plant, so may b its from the decrease in humidity and the cold air? i turned off the a/g just to keep the plant from sucking up too much water, and seeing what happens. also i misted some water around in hopes to increase humidity. if anyone has suggestions as to why this problem occured, and how it can be fixed, please dont wait too long because iv NEVER seen the plant looking like this and it worries me because im not advanced enough to isolate the problem and solve it on my own.

...water is usually the reason for a plants droop. If you over watered, let dry until the pot is light to lift. If the pot is light, then they need water.

its the ones in the a/g.... theres not much i can to about letting the plants dry a bit other the turning off the a/g. and even so i had to turn it back on cuz it shouldnt be off too so as not to effect the hk

...awe, I've never grown with an a/g other than my ezcloner....but, I do hear how some run the aeros for a minute then off 5 minutes, something like that....

i dont have a cam but il grab my brothers laptop and snap a few... also the colour is still a very rich green, for the most part it seems healthy other than the severe wilt

roots look good. i pulled it up to take a peek and it looks fine. takie a look at the pics if u havnt already. i swear it looks healthy other than the wilt

i think what il do is a transplant because i have a feeling theyr just getting way too over watered inside the a/g. it makes me a little pissed off that i dropped like 150 on this thing when i could have built a much better system for like 70 bucks. i guess il just save it as a cloner. do u guys think its a good idea to transplant thought? also how much time do i have till the plant is unable to be revived?

Dude slow down...Their is a ton of help here if you will let us....you can't over water in a hydro system period....Lots of drawbacks with the AG....But it will work wonderfully if you make a few adjustments....
There are many better setups BUT, it will work just fine with a few mods...

Here's a couple threads that will help.....

im just a little freaked out at the moment that they rapidly have digressed in progress. right now the kush plant is beginning to show similar signs to the ww, and now they are both showing sings of yellowing leaves. i checked the ph and its pretty high for aeroponics, around 6-6.2. i also have no airstone, i know ppl say that makes a dif.

Daily]Sifter; You using Tap water aren't you?

What have you fed them? I hope you've not fed them much...

Use Distilled water from your local Grocery store
Give me some details on what you've fed them by way of AG tabs and/or other Veg Nutes.

We'll get you all fixed up and going! No worries

WOW takes forever for those pics to load...

How about it looks like you could move your cfls closer they might be light deficient,
where is the hood ?
The water going into the res needs to be Ph balanced 5.5 to 6.5...

krozone, i have been using water from my brita filter that iv let sit for about 2 days with no lid. however, i did need to top it off with some water that wasnt sitting for too long, but that was more than a week ago. i only put water in once so the nutes i used were the starter nutes that come with the kit. i havnt used the tomato nutes that come with it aswell.

Mr.Natural, im almost certain the lighting is good, there are several more cfls that cant be seen. the aerogarden hood is high in the canopy out of view to spread the multi spectrum lights the aerogarden has. i would say it did get much colder then usual in the area last night, but no less then 16 Celsius, which i dont know what translates to farenheit. the stems are looking a little more woody today, which i heard is due to cold temp. a few days ago two of my bigger plants looked a little droopy in the morning and perked right up in no time when the light was on. i cleaned and added a make-shift sponge filter to my a/g yesterday and had the two plants in question in a bowl of some a/g water i scooped up to keep the happy while i worked. may b stress did it perhaps in combine with the cold. i checked the roots again and they seem to look a little yellowish, not much though but a slight hugh, so maybe they arent soaking up water from the stress. the ww plant now seems like the first set of leaves are starting to dry out. also what could i do to lower the ph levels?

The Starter tabs are the smallest of the collection of AG tabs.

You should use 1/2 of the smallest Tab starting with the 2nd week once the Seed Is germinated.
The 3rd week, 1 full Starter tab.
The 4the week, 1/4 Strength start with your own Nutes (Drop the AG Tabs).
The 5th week, I go with 1 TSP per Gallon of my Hydroponic Veg Nutes. Until the time where all my Roots are completely wrapped around everything, so that I cannot remove the lid; Prior to; I thoroughly clean the res every time I refill it.

Once the roots became too much, cleaning it isn't an option for me. (Unless I HAD to clean it.. Then I would find a way).
I just now keep the RES topped off all the time.

Loving it!

Take a look at my Sig link. I've got NIrvana's Blue Mystic Growing VERY well in my AG. Nearly at 3 weeks of Flowering. She's doing VERY WELL!

Good luck!

I use a liquid solution that is made by General Hydroponics. There are many brands. There are two basic formulas, one is pH down, it is some kind of acid. The second is pH up, it's a base. ( thats what the labels are marked ). I'm not positive but I think this stuff can be found at any pet store for aquariums...It only takes a few drops or mils. per gallon or liter haha....

pH is really important they get out of whack quickly...

I think you're right..16 Celsius just a hint too cool, warm them up....they will love you for it......

i think what i might do is go out and buy some of the two ph up and down. thanks for the replies everyone, and thanks to whoever made this a sticky

yesterday i changed the water, nutes, and added the biggest airstone i could fit in the a/g. the plants dont look much better, but then again they dont look any worse so i think thats an improvement considering they declined to this state within a day.
