Winter greenhouse

ok I live in central California and this year I did my very first green house grow this winter,I'm not new to growing as I have grown outdoor for a couple years..but I would like to know what you guys think about the winter harvest and suggestions as in greenhouse, lights, ventilation..currently I have a hoop house with 2 250watt light bulbs for supplemental lighting and 1 fan I have my plants in 25 gallon smart pots:confused:

How cold does it get? Biggest problem I see with greenhouses in the winter time is they cost way too much to keep heated sufficiently. Powdery mildew is often a huge epidemic. You can get that thermal glass whatever they call it to hold heat in but it would be a very expensive setup. It may as well be about the price of a small home with a basement. Most cases you're better off just sticking indoors and heating your house with your lights. properly grown indoors is also so much easier to keep clean as far as bugs and such. plus you create whatever conditions you want besides the constant battle with changing outdoor weather. you are the god of that room.
