Winter's coming... let's talk heaters!

Most don't have to worry about this but I am in a mountainous area (duh) and I grow in a very small basement crawlspace. Heat rises. I've noticed the temps dropping already. I pull air from the house and send it outside. I now have to run a small heater down there that has it's own thermostat but it's far from accurate. Any good affordable heaters out there that have their own thermostat that is accurate and fire safe?

TIA

I use oil filled radiators. They provide an even, well dispersed mellow heat. Only draw back, they take 20-30 mins. to come up to temp at lights out. An additional small fan driven heater should cure this problem in your app. Set it so it shuts down as the radiators reach optimum temp.
Hope this helps,
Fred

That looks nice! The ones I have bought from Walmart were never very good and broke quickly.

I'll have to order a couple of those!

I find the winter time to be the best for indoor growing. No need for cooling!! Cracking the window supplies a perfect flow of cold, dry air to regulate my warm temps. It's the summer that causes me problems. It's a relief when when winter comes!
