Wisconsin Kicks Obama in the Teeth

Yeah, thats smart politics man. Look at the situation objectively. It was clear pretty early on that Walker was gonna keep his position, why associate yourself with a clear loser? I dont understand how Obama took it on the chin, in the exit polls he beat Romney pretty handily. This isnt some political harbinger of the national election, its a sitting governor beating the same guy he beat 2 years ago. The only thing this election proved is that theres an ungodly amount of $ being spent and that our democracy is basically up for auction thanks to the Supreme Court. That isnt good for ANY of us.
Exit polls are notoriously unreliable. They claim polls show the majority of American support gay marriage, yet every time it's put on the ballot, including left leaning California, the public votes against it.

Wisconsin is not in play. Obama is up by double digits there and the democratic candidate has won that state in every presidential race since 1984.

Florida is a close-ish race with a slight edge in favor of Obama. NC is most likely red. VA doesn't matter.

Obama wins Florida and the race is over though, there's no likely red map that does not include Florida.

if you look at the electoral math forward, romney has to pull off a miracle.

Public sector unions are dead in Wisconsin. Now the WH says Walker's win means nothing for November. LOL, then why did they pull out because they didn't want Obama to be tainted with the defeat?
Obama? I don't believe Obama actually did anything regarding this and this is where he receives just a small portion of the wide array of negative criticism from liberals. During the campaign he said if collective bargaining rights are threatened he will "put on a pair of comfortable shoes and walk on that pickit line with you"...he didn't even do that, let alone intervene. This thread couldn't possibly be less about Obama.

One thing you can count on from liberals, they will lie about anything to further "the cause."
can you stop making sweeping claims about liberals? like we are all the same person? I'm going to start making sweeping claims about conservatives. Your all racists. The kkk votes republican so you must all believe in the kkk. Who has bombed abortion clinics? republicans. Therefore all republicans are domestic terrorists.

see... it's kind of offensive.

one last thing about wisconsin. With record turnout last tuesday, obama was over 50%. Romney was around 45%. So, if Wisconsin is as excited to put romney in the white house, as they were about keeping Walker in the cheese house, Obama would still win WI by 6 or 7 points.

If you're going to start doing that, then you'll be exactly like every other liberal we have to deal with on this forum. I've heard those exact points and many more just like them.

You're right it is offensive, they should stop lying.

Are those the same exit polls that had Walker and Barrett in a tie? You know the ones that oversampled Democrats by 4%? They were off by 7% on the recall, reflect that same error/laughable bias on the Presidential election and Romney is ahead by 2%.

Nothing like some good news in the morning and verification you're correct.

In a poll released by Rasumussen on Wednesday, Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney is now ahead of President Barack Obama in Wisconsin.

According to the poll, 47 percent of voters in the state said they would vote for Romney, compared to the 44 percent who favor Obama. Forty-seven percent of voters approved of Obama’s performance as commander-in-chief, while 52 percent disapproved.

Even if Obama carries WI, if he has to struggle there it means he is going to lose all the other swing states. Obama won WI by 14 in 08, now he trails by 2. That's a 16 pt swing. Apply that all over the map and see what you get.
