My first seedling poped up today!! So exciting! This morning I could see the top and 10 hours later is was about 2-3 cm out of the soil!! Have another plant that I can see the top poking out as well. This is quite fun! On the seed that just poped out (I call her Wendy) I used a root hormone on after germinating and on the other (I call her Beth) I didn't use any root hormone. At first I thought Wendy would make more roots first because of the hormone, but that I can tell, that isn't the case. Has anyone tried using the root hormone after germinating too? I know it's mainly used for cloning but thought I would give it a try after the germinating process. Anyways, I have the plants in (their own) 4 inch pot of soil under two 13w t5 bulbs for 18 hours per day. Watering thrice a day with ph ~6.5 water, not using any fertilizers. Would be using two 20w t12 bulbs but the light fixture I got has to be hard wired (yikes), so that's pushed aside for the moment. Plants and lights are enclosed in a 20x15x9 box with vent holes. Will upgrade to bigger box once plants grow more. Anyone out there have any suggestions or thought, I would love to hear them.

:peace:
