I know I'm in the minority by saying this but if your careful miracle gro isnt so horrible it does great for me during veg and cant complain during flowering. I'm just on my 3rd grow. But all 3 were grown in miracle gro and I'm learning that my buds can be bigger and tastier in fox farms and adding nutes. And I'm working my way their. But I'm learning and have learned quite a bit in miracle gro. Here's a few pics of all 3 of my grows so far in veg and flower. I wouldnt recommend it to someone I'm just saying miracle gro hasn't been that bad for me.
This makes me want to just go full mg with the plant I have and grow the new ones in the good stuff and the first one be my experimental project .

Like I said dpatterson. I'm not recommending mg I'm just speaking as to what I've done with it. A complete amature that before the last 9 months had never grown a tomato plant I also added perlite to it and a little top soil from my yard. Experimenting is my favorite part of growing. I love trying things (within reason) to see how she will react. I think if ya have fun and enjoy growing. Plus ya get a bag full of nice buds at the end it's a win win.

fucked er bud. sorry .
For starting seeds even cheap soil from the store should work. Old soil from a garden should work. It's a resilient plant. Shit does happen tho sometimes. It doesn't make someone a bad grower by any means. I would get a bunch of cheaps seeds or maybe you even have access to free ones. Do a bunch of experimenting until you find what method works best for you.

? What
The seedlings will stretch on you, its always a good idea to leave a few inches of space in the container to add more dirt after it sprouts. That goes for planting seeds as well as transplanting to bigger pots. Always leave room. It will need the support. People also get creative with pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, string, etc.

you get out what you put in man.... Foxfarms soil is good, nutrients are meh. I would never put anything Miracle gro in my garden, not even the
perlite.

@orville petry Cannabis can grow and produce smokable buds in a variety of conditions, its a very hearty plant. Just because you CAN doesnt mean you should... With better lighting and a better choice of nutrient rich soil you could have easily yielded twice as much.
I understand madvillian420. I agree totally. With what your saying and I want all those things and will have them some day. I'm just working with what I've got right now. And wanted to share my experience with ya.

I didn’t think I was over watering it. Maybe wrong first plant ever . Trial and error . I’m growing inside in the windows while seedlings. Then going outside with them. I feel like I should have put them outside a couple days ago . Hopefully this one needs up . The stems seemed week the past few days . What would be a good watering schedule for something this size ?
roots like oxygen, a lot. rather than referring to a schedule, just get it wet and don't water again until the soil is about a day or two from being mostly dry- at least at the top. might be every 4-6 days, possibly more or less, depending on your environment (temperature, relative humidity). if it scares you to leave them too long without water you can safely get away with adding just a little bit every few days, but really just a little bit - maybe a couple tablespoons worth in a solo cup start like that. If you start in pure coco coir you which is a pretty high % oxygen even when soaked, you'll be way less likely to drown your seedlings.. that's how i do it anyways and have never lost a 'ling to too much water. also, it looks like you're using the kind of cup that should have them but make sure there are drainage holes in the bottom. if there are none, make some with something pokey. check that your pot is letting water all the way through out the bottom when you do soak it. good luck!

Good mixture . Anything not mg on perlite is crazy expensive it seems . I’ll check in store . How does this mixture look ?
If you want low maintenance I would get sunshine mix #4 as a medium if you can get it where you are. And Gaia Greens all purpose 4-4-4 (veg) and their 2-8-4 (bloom) it's a dry amendment nutrient you can pre mix it into the medium or do a top dressings then just use ph water and you will have to top dress again after around 3-4 weeks. I also use compost teas but it's easier to look that up then explain.
