They can administer that test on anyone driving at any time.
The onus is on u to prove sobriety now and that’s all thanks to the hipsters wanting to buy legal rec weed at $15 a gram

That's not correct. They need probable cause for the saliva test, but not for alcohol.
I don't know where this misinformation comes from. Let's set the record straight once and for all. Don't be a putz, make sure they have reasonable cause if they want a saliva sample!

If they can demand a sample for bringing back empty beer cans I’m sure they can think of something to ask you!
And they treat a refusal as an admission of guilt.

wasn't calling you a putz, just anyone who says yes to a saliva sample without the police having reasonable cause. Stand up for your rights. the saliva sample is not mandatory like the breath sample, look at the law. Yes cops are slimy but stop passing fake information like they don't need reasonable cause for a saliva sample.

I will just lie out my ass if a cop asks me about weed. I don't use that stuff. If they ask to take a saliva test because they think they smell weed, I ran over a dead skunk and I'll say no. They can go fuck themselves!

The only reason she took the test was because she had weed (properly stored mind you) in the trunk and the office ASKED her if she would take the test, they never specified it was mandatory. She thought it was because they had just made her blow for alcohol, and that was mandatory per the law. So she said yes. If she had said no we would not be discussing this particular case, just a different one lol.
