Wondering if this is okay

I'm new to this and on my first grow... I have 5 lamp leads and 10 cfl bulbs all 20 watts, 5 are 6500k and 5 are 2700k. I can use five at a time equalling 100watts but if I buy dual splitters on all the lamp leads I can have all ten bulbs on at a time equalling 200 watt, however I don't want them all on at the same time but would it be okay to have say five 20w 6500k bulbs and two 20w 2700k bulbs for veg stage and then 5 2700ks and two 6500k bulbs for flowering In order to get extra 40watts of energy for the plant each stage or would I be better sticking with the five correct bulbs for each stage?

I'm growing vast and fast feminised autos incase anyone is interested and currently germinating my first seed and will be doing a journal, I've started the first entry

Personally. If I was you I'd just go straight to HID. Just get a 400w hps

seems like a nice plan, you're right about it getting more energy & in natural conditions the plants getting a full spectrum of light so that little bit of red during veg and the little bit blue during flower will help
HID etc. will give you better yields but CFLs will still give you weed and you'll learn something about growing

That's perfect feedback guys! thanks fluff up just the info I needed, I'll be sure to stick to my plan for this grow so I can learn the basics and then look into HID lighting and also thanks Kiwi I'll be sure to follow your advice In the near future.

If $$$ is the issue always check Amazon or eBay. I didn't need one, but about a month or 2 ago I just happened to stumble on a full 400w set up with rope ratchet and timer and bulb for $69 free shipping on Amazon!! Couldn't pass it up, so I bought 2 of them. Oh and when it got here I was surprised to see its switchable too
