Wondering if this would work?...

If i used a 34w and 42w cfl on one female plant using
a 24-Hour light cycle for the first 4 - 5 weeks and then 12/12
for another 6 or so, would that work or is it not enough
light?

I'd go 20/4 b/c I believe they need that rest for root growth, I wouldn't veg nearly that long either. That is low for light and a foot tall plant at 20/4 then flowers would need more light. Lst'n and a small plant and it would work.

i'd use 24/0, my plants root systems are huge and i have to transplant often. his opinion is valid to however, just saying in my experience what ive seen and done. its going to take longer than 6 weeks to finish flowering, more like 10-12. i think the question is kind of flawed, what do you consider "work"? what are you hoping to get from it?

Picture 045.jpgPicture 040.jpgi am getting pretty good at the cfl thing and i only use 2- 42w on each plant.. Make sure your bulbs are no farther than an inch or 2 away at all times,,what you use for reflection is key, I use white bathroom panel board. The one thing i will agree with is budding time,,using cfl's you need to be patient, if you think its done let it go another week.. with cfl flowering i have noticed they slow down right before they gain size, you have to wait and 10-12 weeks is very accurate. I got 1.5 ounces each plant and one had 2 oz's dry with my first harvest, 4 plants,, I know have six in flowering, they are only 5 weekes in and they are boomin.. if you enclose the plant with maximum reflection you can 100% get a good yield..i only use 10 total bulbs for 6 plants.
