wondering when to clone

Thank goodness for bubbleponics!!! I got 3 seeds from a friend and all he knew was that they were called 5-2 a cross between columbian and skunk. All i know is for my first grow they are growing like crazy. They're 5 weeks old 14inches tall and bushy as hell. Mr. Green said in his video to clone after about 2 months to sex but, i am thinking it's already time to clone. Can someone offer advice??

I had read the same thing regarding 2 months and when I asked about that around here, the general consensus was that's about when one would have a plant healthy enough to take clones and still survive. If you think she is ready to take a couple of clones without hurting the plant, go for it.

^^^^Totally agreed^^^^ I used dwc for my mothers this last time because I needed lotsa clones and quick lol. I didnt top and was taking lower branches for clones in less than a month. As long as they are healthy enough...

Id say a month or 8 nodes. Ur gonna want to let some of the lower branches stretch a little so u can take a decent enuff cut with some stem on it.
Honestly u can clone a plant pretty much whenever u want far as I know. I've cloned anywhere from the first week of veg up till just before harvest.
If I was u id wait till the first couple weeks of flower until u know u have a female then take the lower stem sites that aren't gonna get the light they need either way. I wouldn't want to go takeing clones of a bunch of males if I could help it.

Thanks guys, yall been a big help! 2 of my plants have 8 nodes so im gonna go for it today. I just didn't want to wait to long to sex them, I don't want any pollinating.

Depends how many clones you want. I like to take 4 when sexing, so I wait for 8-10 nodes and top the plant. I let the bottom branches stretch to about 5-6" and cut them. That way if something goes wrong you've got at least 4 more cutting to work with.
